The Grant House is a historic house overlooking Fort Vancouver Park. Enjoy our cozy wine bar, elegant dining room, or wrap around porch.

We offer wine by the flight, glass and bottle well as beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Our food menu includes a selection of tasty small plates and boards as well as a full lunch and dinner menu created from scratch included hand made pasta, gnocchi and dinner entrees.

We can accommodate groups up to 12 people in the Sun Room by reservation.Our private event space is available for larger parties and corporate meetings.

Local historian Jeff Davies offers an entertaining presentation on he history of the resident ghosts at the historic Grant House. The tour starts at 2pm and it's free. We just ask for a minimum spend of $20 per person. Book a table for lunch before the tour or nibbles and drinks during or after.

food was generally very good as usual. However a special, as I recall. was "pork loin and pork belly". My serving seemed to be missing the pork loin. Another time, the bolognese was missing the broccolini and fried shallot

The four of us all enjoyed being in this historical venue, eating delicious house made gnocchi, ragu pasta, crab cakes and a chocolaty dessert along with sips of wine. It’s a 30 min drive for us but will definitely go again. Would love to do lunch on the porch and then take a long walk around the park grounds afterwards.

We met family here for a Sunday lunch. The dining room was very quiet and we had the full attention of our knowledgeable and friendly server, Shauna. We were surprised to be given a sample of the seasonal bruschetta while we were deciding on our orders. Everything was perfect from our tasty wines and cocktails to the plates of food! We are already planning our return and will recommend to friends!!

In the summer, I took a dear friend to Willful Wine for lunch. A few months later, she said, I want to go back to the Grant House for lunch. I had the best grilled cheese sandwich of my life. So, we took her back for her 90th birthday in November. The food and service are excellent.

One of my very favorite places to eat. Beautiful, clean, great food and service. Outdoor patio for warm weather. Room for 10 for a special private gathering. Have nothing but positive things to say.

A great historical location. Sitting outside is the best. Limited menu is good but the food was average at best and the service was slow. It took an hour to get our entrees. Disappointing based on our previous experience with a different restaurant owner before the pandemic.

I'm sorry you had a negative experience John. I passed on your comments to our front of house manager and chef. We don't a large staff in the kitchen but we don't usually have that kind of wait time for food, and that is absolutely unacceptable.
