Executive Chef Glen Barrett works with the rhythm of nature, this is expressed in the vibrant fresh dishes that are produced every day. Serving breakfast and lunch seven days, Wild Canary is also available for exclusive use for events such as weddings or private parties. Wild Canary is famous for delicious whole specialty cakes that can be ordered as takeaway or dine in.

Silly really but unfortunately I ordered what I thought I had back in October... In October myself and 2 friends ordered the mushrooms on toast... It was a fabulous dish... Unfortunately today I thought it would be the same.. But the dish had changed.. Such a shame... The dish today was OK.. But certainly not as good as the "eye rolling" experience we had in October... Service was good, as always is, and lucky we were in small room at back where it is quieter as restaurant gets very noisy when busy.. Can't hear yourself speak... (note to self to go mid week maybe as weekend ultra busy!..).. Noise a big issue I think in the restaurant.. Also had the coconut and lemon slice.. To die for!!.. Thanks again.. And sorry for the little whinge re the mushrooms on toast... I was just soooo looking forward to it, so I had my expectations raised!!.. All in all.. Still a lovely place to eat out..

The Wild Canary Restaurant, Brookfield – A Disappointing Lunch Experience I recently visited The Wild Canary in Brookfield with a group of four for what I had hoped would be a relaxing lunch. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. To start, the timing of our meals was frustrating. Two of our main dishes arrived promptly, but the third dish came 15 minutes later, followed by an appetizer of bread, olives, and oil, which inexplicably arrived last. The delay disrupted our meal, and the lack of coordination was noticeable. When I pointed out that one of the meals was cold, the waitress merely shrugged, offering no apology or solution. This dismissive attitude was disappointing, especially given the premium reputation of the restaurant. Additionally, our table was missing cutlery and napkins. When I requested them, it seemed like an inconvenience to the staff, which added to the overall dissatisfaction. While the setting of The Wild Canary is undeniably beautiful, with its lush garden surroundings, the service and meal coordination need significant improvement. I expected more attention to detail. I hope the management addresses these issues, as the restaurant has great potential but needs to enhance its customer service to match the ambiance.

We ordered the day’s Special for our Anniversary Breakfast. It looked delightful & decadent and tasted delicious. Our waitress treated us as special guests. We could not have wished for a better time.

Repeat visit and elected to sit inside. Great art on display. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was tasty and well presented. Thoroughly recommend an upmarket cafe with diverse menu, situated in lovely bamboo garden surrounded by classy plant nursery. Not cheap but well worth the money.

Always yummy food, staff are friendly, efficient and helpful, love that they use some food grown on site. Handy also is the lovely garden centre right there too.

I love Wild Canary. One of our most favourite places to meet our precious friends. The staff are just lovely. Good coffee and delicious food🫶🏻🫶🏻

It was very pleasant to sit in the outdoor undercover area, with beautiful green bush close by - the whole ambience was very quiet and relaxing despite the fact that almost every table was occupied. The food was very much appreciated, with several gluten free choices available. Thanks to the staff who served us admirably.

Nestled in a lush garden oasis, Wild Canary was the perfect choice to celebrate our girlfriend's birthday. Our party of three was warmly welcomed into this vibrant and serene venue, where the atmosphere set the tone for a delightful afternoon. Our server was attentive, professional, and friendly. Their impeccable timing and warm demeanour added to the celebratory mood. The drinks arrived quickly, perfectly chilled, and refreshing—just what we needed on a hot day. The culinary experience at Wild Canary is nothing short of exceptional. We all ordered the prawn tacos, and it was unanimous—they were absolutely delicious! The flavours were vibrant, the presentation was stunning, and the portions were generous. For dessert, we indulged in a slice of orange cake with cream, adorned with edible flowers. It was almost too beautiful to eat but tasted as incredible as it looked. Paired with some of the best coffee I’ve had in a long time. Wild Canary truly delivered on every level—great service, incredible food and drinks, and a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend this hidden gem for any occasion or simply to treat yourself to an unforgettable dining experience.
