Wild Caddis, is the fine dining restaurant at the Rainbow Ranch Lodge.

It’s known that a great meal is an experience that involves all of the senses. Wild Caddis is proud to offer world-class Montana ranch-to-table cuisine, originating from the finest and freshest products available. We use the highest quality, fresh, locally grown, and conscientiously raised products from regional producers, which help inspire us to create culinary and visual masterpieces.

Wild Caddis dining is rustic-modern, relaxed, but refined, with unsurpassed views of the majestic Gallatin River running by the lodge. House-made specialties such as duck prosciutto smoked bacon, and house-cured salamis are enhanced by our award-winning wine list and hand-crafted, barrel-aged cocktails in an environment as inviting as its Big Sky Country backdrop.

What an outstanding meal we experienced tonight at Wild Caddis! The staff is focused on customer service and customer experience. The cocktails were perfectly prepared as well as exceptional in the taste of each one. Extensive wine list by the glass, half bottle, or 750ml (Wine Spectator Award Winning list). I don’t even know how to explain the exquisite food we enjoyed! Bison Bourguignon as a shared plate with crispy garlic and herb sourdough bread was a perfect blend of flavors. Salad… goodness Haricot Verts with Goat Cheese and Butternut Squash a crunch of delicious beans with tart goat cheese and sweet butternut, not only flavorful but beautifully served! Spinach Salad with Fig and Pancetta was hit the rest of our group. Bread… did I mention the sliced Sourdough and whipped butter?? Yummy! Entrees were varied around the table- Huckleberry Chicken - moist chicken with Huckleberry Sauce and Huckleberries; flash fried Kale.. light, a bit of crisp with salt that melted on the tongue; Scallops and Tenderloin Medallions, both exceptional in preparation and taste; Beef Tenderloin in Garlic Pan Sauce left you wanting more! Our desserts were definitely the highlight of the meal with two on menu items to share and an unexpected treat of three unique ice cream flavors… Black Sesame, Brie and Pecan; Balsamic, and Fruit Sorbet! Executive Chef, Nick has carefully crafted an outstanding menu. His talent shows in bite that his team executes perfectly. Definitely a dining experience to enjoy over and over! Well Done Chef!!

Very cozy and warm feel to this rustic retreat by the Gallatin River. Our reservation was late and we were only people in restaurant based on it being off season. Regardless our host and waitress made us feel welcome and the feel was like they were cooking only for us. Great service and food was very good! Can't wait to visit next year!

Wonderful evening to sit outside and enjoy the view! All the wait staff were friendly and enjoyable. We enjoyed our wine and both meals were very good! Would definitely recommend!

The food needs serious work! My fish was so salty and I returned it .. they washed it off and cooked the same piece of fish with my bite taken out of it... it came back even more oily as they attempted to resear it. The wine list is great!!! Also affordable priced and service was good too but I won't return due to the inedible food

We do hand season during the cooking process and your fish could have mistakenly had a heavy-handed sprinkling, our apologies, in that type of scenario we would start with a fresh piece of fish, and if it still was not to your liking our apologies.
