Christmas is so much more than just the big day itself and we'll keep the festivities going all the way through December into the bright lights of 2025! When I visited the white horse. I decided not to stay as it was too noisy and I was not keen on the atmosphere of the place. There was no one to welcome me when I entered and to show me to my table that I had booked.

Went as a family, 10 of us in total. Staff were amazing and took great care of us. Food was great even the fussy kids didn’t have any complaints. Would definitely return :)

Book a table for sunday lunch and was told when placing the food order that they cant do sunday dinner today. No sign or being told at the bar when buying drinks that there was an issue

Was turned away even though we booked a table through open table with the excuse that none of the bookings had been coming through because the owner was away. Completely unacceptable this not only spoiled Mother’s Day but ours sons 16th Birthday. I believe we wasn’t the only ones turned away. We will not be revisiting.

Arrived at the pub on mother’s day with two hungry children, only to be told they hadn’t received our online booking and had no availability! Very poor!

The food was great and the pub is lovely too. Very good menu, lots of choice for adults and children. The service was poor. Had a 5 year old with us so booked for 5pm, didn’t finish meal till 7.15. First course came at 6pm. Pub wasn’t too busy.

We visited the White Horse on a Tuesday lunchtime, it was quiet but the staff gave us a warm welcome & the service was perfect, we were very well looked after. The food was well cooked & tasty. We would re-visit this pub again.

Meals were really tasty and nice and hot. A personal negative was the number of people who were ‘Vaping’ (5 people nearby). This would influence whether or not we would make a return visit!
