Received personalised service from the team on Sunday , really exceptional . Much appreciated. They went above and beyond to ensure we had our Sunday Roasts . Needless to say we will be back .

The batter was very greasy and not crispy as should be on a chicken schnitzel . Was very disappointed

Lovely traditional, homely pub. The staff are friendly and efficient, nothing too much trouble. Eaten before here and will be eating again in the future. Lovely to spend Christmas Day lunch in somewhere so nice. Thank you all for working so hard and giving up your Christmas to serve others. Very appreciated.x

Was very nice and hot. Really enjoyed it . The only thing was the coffee was only lukewarm when it arrived - drank it in one . Thank you

The restaurant was busy and fairly noisy, but expected at this festive time. The food was excellent, however waiting 40 minutes for starter to arrive wasn’t expected!

The service was excellent, the food was good if a bit canteen style, nice chips and chopped salad so not lots of creative restaurant cooking going on. However for the money it's was nice tasty food

Food is always good here and the service is much improved from.previously Waiting staff were friendly helpful and attentive Very reasonably priced too and the food was good

Unfortunately the food wasn’t good. The fish especially, there was hardly any fish just batter! Staff were lovely, but price for the food was a lot for the quality of food received!!

Haven’t been for a while and very pleasantly surprised and pleased by the quality of the Sunday roast . Have already made second booking .
