White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

This was our third time dining at WDC this time for brunch. The omelets, shrimp & grits, and burger were all delicious. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was festive. We will definitely be back.

Friends and I went to the Pajama Brunch on New Years Day at the White Dog Cafe in Chester Springs. This is the first that I have been to this new White Dog. It is wonderful. It has tons of character and many small rooms. They have retained the country charm of the old home. The food is always excellent. My two friends had the specials, which were yummy. The waffles with fruit compote and syrup with a taste of coffee were delicious. I recommend White Dog for a terrific dining experience.

We had a great brunch on New Year’s day! However, the service was just a little bit slow, but it wasn’t too bad.

Our dinner on a very very busy New Years Eve was excellent! We did have to wait a bit for our reserved table but considering how busy they were we did not mind and everyone was courteous and professional. Our server Lizzie was great! Grace our hostess kept us informed of the delay. We would come here again and again! Kudos and thank you to the entire staff of White Dog Cafe, our New years Eve was perfect.

Dining out on New Year's Eve can be risky, as it is so busy sometimes the food and service is not up to par. However, our experience at the the White Dog Cafe, Chester Springs was quite the opposite. Everything was terrific...the service, the food and holiday decorated rooms were perfect. We didn't feel rushed, our server was very attentive, and as usual the food was hot and tasty. Despite the intense thunder and lightning the lights stayed on...a perfect night!

What an exceptional experience. It was like a well-oiled machine...everything ran so smoothly for such a busy evening. Service was prompt and pleasant, dinner was exceptional. We are so happy that White Dog found another home at this spectacular venue. And Sam, of course, went out of her way to stop and say hello. She is a gem! Happy New Year!

Love the atmosphere. Service was top notch. Food was good (though my fish was overcooked- but tasted good anyway). Overall, great experience and will go again.
