We are regulars at The westmead for pizza and cocktail evenings. I booked a table for 7.30pm we arrived to a very busy dining room with what seemed like only one member of staff working. After approx 30 mins our drinks order was taken, a further 10 mins after our food order was taken to which we were told that you had run out of pizza and it was going to take 1hour for our food to arrive?! Because it was getting late we didn’t have much choice than to stay and select food from the main menu. When the food arrived it was tasty and we all enjoyed it and we were given a discount off our finally bill which was very much appreciated. Maybe it would be a good idea when taking bookings to find out which of those bookings would like pizza so you have enough and not to leave people disappointed. I didn’t get the girls name who served us but she was great and really turned a bad situation into a good one so hats off to her. We are booked for our Xmas doo with you let’s hope it’s a good night…..

Food was nice fish&chips but was very disspointed no roast beef that was why went expensive lunch out for 3 fish chips&3 pepsi maxs £61

The reason I have given 4 stars is the portions were very small. For your seventeen pound beef dinner you had 2 potatoes, 1 carrot, 1 parsnip a small portion of cabbage and 3 small slices of beef. The food was lovely but could have been bigger. Service was good but very slow. There was only 1 other table in the restaurant so I’m not sure why service was slow. Restaurant is decorated nicely and it was very relaxed. Soft drinks are expensive £3.60 for small bottle coke.

The food was excellent i had the rump beef it just melted in your mouth,the service was good the bar man waiter was very good polite.

Great evening! We were almost the only table there but as we had 14 it was great fun! Service & food were brilliant. Mojitos not so good, but all other drinks great

Great food, the room was quite cold and very little atmosphere whilst here but we really enjoyed the food as a family.

241 pizza for 4 of us. 3 arrived but the 4th had to be sent back as wrong order. 4th pizza did not arrive until after the 3 of us had finished ours and abit of time after Manager/Supervisor on duty was very apologetic and discounted off the pizzas

Food was diabolical. Asked for a different menu as the valentines menu was being used. Was told I couldn’t have it. Then as I was leaving they was handing out the menus I had asked for. I ate a bite of my food and felt sick. Very disappointed. Big waste of money.
