A village pub with plenty of history and tradition, conveniently situated just off the A19. Cask marque accredited pub selling at least 3 cask ales. Having the benefit of 3 separate bars. A comfortable lounge for food, drink and conversation with a further 2 separate bar areas with Sky TV & ESPN. Quizzes and various charity events all happen at the Wellington. We have a Function room available. large car park and a well maintained beer garden for al fresco eating and drinking.

    The staff are amazing and always extremely friendly, the food however is another thing. Order basic and you’ll get average anything else don’t bother. The pub itself it brilliant and always a great atmosphere I just wish they’d sort the food out.

    We went for Sunday lunch and it was really nice The atmosphere is relaxed Service was seamless Table was reserved and ready for our arrival Food menu was clear and easy to navigate There was plenty of food on the plate and then vegetables and extra Yorkshire puddings and gravy stuffed! Not even room for dessert although they had varied choices

    Half the food on the menu not available. Needed an axe to get through the crust on the turkey pie.
