   Make a reservation for 5 people on Saturday 15 March 2025. All the food was great (everyone said they enjoyed what they had), and reasonable price; Guinness and steak pie, pizza burger, chicken supreme, cheese pizza and veggie pie (with mushrooms). Great choice of beers, and quiet restaurant area (there was music, but not so loud to prevent conversations. I'm sure in the summer it would be even better as there is plenty of outside seating, but it was a bit cold in mid-March for that. Great country pub.

   Love it ! Fish and chip Friday ! Yeah ! Wonderful freshly cooked haddock not from a packet ! So good . Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t say more .

   We needed to sit in this part of the pub as one of our part had a large dog with them. The dog was made welcome with dog biscuits and bowls of water. I had the beef which was excellent. The staff were friendly.

   Always our absolute go to in the area for a family get together and lunch - the food and service are impeccable, and also so accommodating for our little dog and toddler.

   Although busy, the team had enough members to keep service flowing with no delays noticed. I was impressed that, when requesting no vegetables with my Sunday roast, without having to ask the team added extra roast potatoes & a second Yorkshire to my meal, so real value for money. My mother was very impressed with her choice of a steak & ale pie. As ever, the staff were welcoming & friendly.

   Love it here ! I took my two neighbours as I always rave about the fish and chips ! They were not disappointed and loved it ! The food is always fresh and hot , service and staff are always very friendly. All round a lovely pub .

   As a loyal and regular visitor to this cute hidden gem, I love their food and the staff are an absolute credit to this pub. The chefs are amazing, I would just recommend they change their soup on a weekly basis. We had the Cod, I would have preferred the skin a little more crispier.
