Join Landlord Stuart and Head Chef Helder for breakfast, lunch or supper at the Wattenden Arms. Built over 150 years ago we are a hidden gem close to the famous Kenley Aerodrome. Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order. We welcome the local & wider community, walkers, cyclists & four legged friends and open daily from 10am.

We had a lovely meal about 3months ago so decided to come again. We had a roast dinner and my friends was very disappointing. It would be nice to have roast sliced thinly. Her beef came ina big think slice. Very fatty hard to cut and chew. I had lamb which was lovely. The carrots you couldnt eat as so hard. Very diaapponting

We are so sorry Marie; did you let us know at the time as we should've changed the meal immediately. Customer satisfaction is key to us. As you can see from the other reviews on this site - this is not our standard at all. We do hope you will give us another chance.

Breakfast at The Wattenden today was superb!!!! Lovely Christmas atmosphere, service as always was fantastic and the full English was excellent!!!! The ingredients were very high quality! Will definitely be back for breakfast again soon

Great food home cooked which is rare nowadays. Service excellent and we had the luxury of live music which was gentle in the background. As a bonus my partner had his favourite beer Harvey’s there. I’ve rebooked for Christmas Eve.

A friendly, efficient and well organised pub. The food is top notch and beautifully presented. We went for an early Christmas meal and there was a small live band to entertain us. It was an excellent evening, and even the chef came out to see if we'd enjoyed the meal. Will be returning again next month. Highly recommended.

Wet poor welcome from person behind the bar- felt we were intruding However service at table was excellent and food good.

Great to have this pub as a local for drinks and the occasional meal with friends and family.

Really pleased we tried the Wattenden Arms. We haven't been before. We had the shared mixed roast and it was really good value for money and delicious freshly prepared food. It's a lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Very family and dog friendly. I would highly recommend.
