Located directly south of The Shanty restaurant, on the southeast corner of Wadsworth Road & US Highway 41 in Wadsworth, IL - Wadsworth Inn is open 7 nights a week starting at 4 pm and offers a cozy rustic ambiance for dining, bar service, and private events. We also feature upstairs outdoor balcony seating with picturesque views of the forest preserve. The menu offers recipes crafted from locally sourced fresh vegetables/herbs from neighborhood farms, creative dishes, timeless comfort food entrees prepared in cast iron, creative takes on fresh seafood & premium aged steaks. The menu is bold, straight forward but complex, & hyper-focused on flavor. We had dinner with friends at the Wadsworth Inn. The service was fantastic, the Christmas ambiance beautiful and the food was exceptional. The menu offers something for everyone and a lot of gluten free options. A special “Thank You” to the owner Dimitri for creating a great restaurant.

Waitstaff was efficient and friendly (5stars). Food came quickly and entrees were hot in a cast iron skillet. A friend had the strip steak which she said was very fatty. Salad choice was either traditional wedge with bacon/blue cheese or arugula dressed with lemon vinaigrette. Would have liked more choices. Large pieces of toasted bread with garlic butter. Pasta servings were large and tasty. We really wanted to love it but it fell short. It was a birthday celebration that I wanted to be special. Not sure we will go back

Food took quite a long time…. seafood bisque is outstanding and crab cakes are excellent! Love sitting in the bar area

Wonderful dinner. So many great options and there were 5 of us, and everyone else was delighted with their choices. Very friendly and competent wait staff.

Trisha was fantastic and the food was good too. Great time with friends and hubby the only thing that would have improved the experience was if the Bears would have won.

Dinner was wonderful. The Wadsworth Inn was very nice. Homey and relaxing. A pleasant change from over-crowded and noisey. Food was very good. Katie was our server and did everything to make sure our dinner was perfect. She was awesome and made the experience just that much more pleasant. When I make the next reservation, I will be asking about her as our server again. I didn't catch the waiter's name that assisted her, but he was also pleasant and very helpful. One of our party is in a wheelchair and the assistance was very much appreciated. It was a very nice experience.
