Essen klasse!!! Service deutlich ausbaufähig: 1h15 auf die Vorspeise gewartet. Mehrmals nachfragen müssen, ob wir Karte für Dessertbestellung bekommen können. Wasser mehrfach bestellen müssen, weil keins gebracht wurde. Es war eine Holschuld von uns etwas vom Service zu bekommen als das man aufmerksam nach uns geschaut hätte und es war nicht voll! Service war aber seh freundlich!!

It does not do complete justice to call Wackes a hidden gem, as it already exists at the same location for more than 30 years. I come here ever since, when I am in Cologne. Authentic Alsatian food at ist best, never been disappointed. I was a bit concerned as it was the first time i visited after the founder handed the restaurant to its new owners, but for no reason! Food quality and service are top notch! Thank you for the wonderful evening.

The woman that waited on us, also waited at the bar ..... she was not vey pleasant, in a rush and when we went to pay her credit card machine kept saying declined on all our cards, which we knew was not possible... then she said her machine was not working and insisted on my paying with cash. It was a business dinner and I was to pay for the check and had no cash. Her reply was "go ask the table to give you the money." I have never encountered anything like this... and I saw her accepting credit cards throughout the night from other diners. Miserable experience... don't go!

Wer einen kleinen Ausflug ins Elsass mitten in Köln machen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Einrichtung, Speisekarte, Weinauswahl und Musik Sorgen für das perfekte . Das Restaurant war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Zu wenig Service. Ansonsten sehr nett. Faire Preise, auch für die Weine.

Nette Atmosphäre. Sehr gutes typisches Essen. Recht laut. Durch Personalmangel bedingt sehr langsamer Service, der dafür aber sehr nett ist

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend im Wackes. Ganz liebe Gastgeber, ein super uriges Ambiente und hervorragendes Essen. Ggf. kleine Wartezeit mitbringen, was irgendwie sogar zu dem extra Charme dazupasst. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!
