They must have changed Chef because the dishes this time were substandard. Calamari was so tough; pizza was soggy; rigatoni was very oily.

Came into the restaurant for the first time after the menu refresh. Everything was 10/10. Our group was impressed with the ambiance and front of house team. Everyone was friendly and explained the menu thoroughly - checked on us often enough but not too overwhelming. The food was all extremely tasty - favourites from the apps were the croquettes, radicchio salad and prosciutto & melone. Calamari was light and tasted great with the green/white/red sauces. Favourite pastas were the papardelle and rigatoni. Tasted fab. And to top it off, the cheesecake was amazing - light, fruit forward and a great way to end the meal. Thank you so much!

I heard about the new menu at Vivo from Instagram and needed to check it out. It did not disappoint! The service was warm and welcoming and the dishes were all incredible. Hats off to chef Nick! The menu was curated with dishes and flavours that made me feel like I was back at my Nonna’s for Sunday dinner.

Came in from out of town to try the new menu. Food was well prepared, visually appealing and very tasty. We started with the insalata di radicchio, calamari fritti and prosciutto croquettes. Our second was the Marguerite pizza followed by the spagettoni with zucchini and rigatoni. The service was excellent and the background music set a wonderful ambiance.

Last night, my husband and I were eager to try the new menu at Vivo, and it did not disappoint! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The food was bursting with flavor and creativity, showcasing a thoughtful balance of ingredients that elevated each dish. Our top picks were the Prosciutto Croquettes—crispy on the outside, perfectly savory on the inside—the Casarecce pasta, which was an absolute delight with its fresh, rich flavors, and the Gamberi, which was a stand-out for its perfectly cooked shrimp and bold, aromatic seasoning. The service was equally impressive. Ninny treated us like family, offering warm hospitality and checking in on us throughout the evening to make sure we were enjoying our meal. It’s clear that Vivo is committed to providing an unforgettable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the elevated dishes on the menu. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy incredible food and top-notch service!

I dined at Vivo with my family. The moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome. The ambiance was warm, friendly and very pleasant. Our waiter Manuel was very attentive and had great suggestions for food and wine. We tried many different plates from their new menu and each one was absolutely delicious. The presentations and the flavours were just perfect. My favourite dishes were the insalata di radicchio, prosciutto croquettes, the rigatoni mezze and the patata pizza. My family and I will definitely be back.

We dined at Vivo a few nights ago. We have been coming to the Bloor location for quite some time now, and we have to say that this last time stood out a lot more than everyone one of our other visits. We were notified of the change of the menu, along with a very special addition to their kitchen. This was bitter sweet as we have always enjoyed our meals in the past, and had definitely become accustomed to our regular dishes, along with the excitement of their feature items. As always we were greeted with genuine warmth from the staff, and management. Upon being handed the new menu, we had our server Manuel go through the in depth changes to the dishes that were now replacing all of our old favourites. The authenticity definitely stepped up in what is one of our favourite places to rely on comfort dishes to satisfy us. This was quite exciting. We decided to order a bunch of new dishes to share as a family. The must tries are the croquettes, the casarecce pasta, and the chicken Milanese. My husband got the calamari, and the spaghetti chitarra, and we split a pizza! I would like to say the addition of the new chef, and this newly elevated menu to an already great restaurant is something special! The pizzaiolo Marco is always serving up an excellent pizza! We were extremely satisfied with the selection of dishes, flavours, presentation, and overall experience that took place for dinner at one of our staples. I definitely suggest that if you have not been to Vivo on Bloor yet, that you take the time to visit this special place. They have refined their already excellent food, and service! Thank you as always, and we cannot wait to be back!

Went out with friends for dinner and had an amazing time, food was delicious and staff were very friendly and attentive to all our needs. Will definitely go back to Vivo Bloor for dinner again.

Had a great time at Vivo tonight! The service and food were amazing. We had chicken, pasta, salads and some appetizers and everything was perfect. Our server was very attentive and accommodating as we were dining with our toddler. Everyone ensured we were comfortable and taken care of. Highly recommend for a family dinner or date night. 10/10!

Everything about Vivo was so 10/10, from the friendly service right when you walk through the doors and all through your meal, and of course, the incredible new menu! *chef’s kiss* We loved the food, drinks, staff and atmosphere. Would highly recommend stopping in for a bite. You won’t be disappointed!
