With nearly 30 years of food and beverage experience, executive chef Jason van Marter is the architect behind the menu at Vivian’s Table. Chef Jason uses his southern, coastal, and Hawaiian cuisine expertise to enliven Vivian’s classic recipes with innovative twists that delight the senses and level up the local culinary scene. He is constantly developing expertly crafted seasonal specials made with local ingredients to bring something new – and delicious – to the table. Brunch at Vivian’s table today was great as always. Great seat, great atmosphere, food and service. We enjoy brunch here almost every Sunday and have never been disappointed.

We had reservations at 6:00 but was told by the gentleman that cut and served meat that they were to close down at 6:00. All the food was cold, some of the macaroni noodles were not even cooked. The apple pies were so cold that you couldn’t eat them. French toast for dessert?? What moron thought of that as a dessert? They must have made too much at breakfast and used it as left over. The only good thing was that we reserved a table and they let us switch to the bar and had an excellent bartender. Would not recommend this place to eat. Dinner for 3 was over $300.00 not worth it at ALL!!

Experience was disappointing. We had out of town guests, we were gaddressed by server, "have you gone to the buffet yet?" She didn't say hi or explain about experience. The food was lacking. The sides were dried out, meats were ok, and the desserts were disappointing. It's definitely not the fine dining we have experienced before.

The Thanksgiving meal was wonderful. Lots of excellent, delicious foods to choose from. The service was also very good.

My husband lost his father this past year. His parents were married 70 years, so this was a tough Thanksgiving for my MIL and the rest of the family. She wanted to do something different. We decided on the Thanksgiving Buffet at the Bristol Hotel. It was our first time at the hotel. We were seated timely, our beverage order taken and then we we ushered to where the Thanksgiving buffet was set up. It was wonderful! There was a Turkey, along with a meat carving station with ham and prime rib, a variety of dressings, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, baked potates, collard greens, green beans, corn pudding, a salad station, soup stations, bread station, and the dessert station. What started as a way to avoid painful traditions of the past has created a wonderful new tradition for us. We will absolutely be back next year. Fabulous meal, excellent service, wonderful dining atmosphere, and a great time had by all. Thank you Bristol Hoel for the new memories and tradition. We look forward to Thanksgiving Dinner 2025 with you!

My husband and I and his adult cousin had Thanksgiving meal. It was perfect in every way. Food was delicious and matched the beautiful presentation. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we did not feel rushed to conclude our meal. Congratulations to the chef and serving staff.

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in the USA. Not expensive or pretentious but very well executed.
