This is a beautiful restaurant. The food is cooked to perfection, the wait staff doesn’t get any better! Attentive but not overbearing. The piano playing in the background is a nice bonus. This was a special occasion for my sister‘s birthday, they had our table decorated with rose petals. I had also made a special request, that was completely taken care of. I highly recommend this for a special occasion. It is a little spendy, but it makes for a very enjoyable, impressionable evening.

Always a great experience for any special occasion or just a quality dinner and night out. Food is always on point with nice surprises or accompaniments to the main course. Service always top of their game. Always had Henry as a server but he has retired. We have had Kristen serve us tha past two times and we would always request her. She knows when to lean in and converse or just simply provide great timely service with a smile. I saw her interact with a small child and that shows how much she cares. Thank you all.

DISAPPOINTING> Yes, the capitalization IS intentional. After reading a series of rave reviews, a reservation was made for an early evening service. Admittedly, an establishment in a casino was a questionable choice. Still, optimism prevailed. The menu posted online is consistent with a “steak house”; the prices reflect the same. The entry spoils that illusion and the instant to flee should have been heard. Instead of a formal reception stand, think “cashier at Denny’s”. Once inside, there is a bar, a series of banquettes on one side, tables and chairs on the other. The menu IS extensive. The offerings, though, do not achieve their promise. Appetizers in the $20 range, reasonable for what Vista aspires, entrees ranging from $50 to $170, more. The calamari arrived almost immediately, in a golden brown, flavorless crust, with two indifferent dipping sauces. A burrito salad, served on a chilled (FROZEN) plate, with its offerings ALSO frozen. The “prosciutto”, was think, rubbery, and inedible. The theme of Vista seemed to be “more is better, quality a secondary concern”. There were lapses in course, presumably due to the large party ahead. The kitchen struggled to produce courses. Eventually, the entrees arrived. A cut of Waygu beef, 4 ounces, cut thin to appear larger. An 8 ounce filet about the same size. Both were cooked, perhaps more than their “medium well” (pink inside) but acceptable. The quantity of SALT was not. If you are a heart patient, if you have sodium restrictions, simply AVOID this. The “steak oscar”, generally an accompaniment server ON a steak, was a MOUND of inedible (again, SALT) “crab” meat with pillars of asparagus. This concoction was available to be forklifted onto the entree. The portion may explain its $39 charge. A decent wine list, an interesting dessert offering which went unexamined. The meal was a fiasco and the bill could not be requested quickly enough. Dine at your own risk. OpenTable has a limit.
