We’ve worked hard to create a warm, honest & thoughtful space. We pride ourselves on unpretentious service, timing & most importantly providing great value. At Virtue we use heritage techniques to create some familiar flavors, & some new ones. We hope to see you soon.

The food was amazing the service was great. They should update the pictures of the food online. I really didn’t want to go but I’m glad I took a chance it has a great time and the drinks were great as well

Although the food is good and they were great about accommodating dietary restrictions around gluten and dairy, our overall experience was pretty terrible. From the moment we walked in we were told we were on a time restriction. In other words a timer starts when you’re seated and you have exactly 90 minutes to get through your meal. We were pressured to order even though a third member of our party wasn’t there yet (stuck in traffic) so we had to call her and get her whole order so they would stop pressuring us. In the end all three of us regretted spending so much money to feel rushed and uncomfortable.

Amazing food and service. One of my favorite Chicago restaurants. You have to get the short rib, Mac and cheese and the biscuits.

Amazing food and service was great. Left stuffed and with lots of leftovers. Get the biscuits, short rib, Mac and cheese and banana pudding. Your welcome!

I really appreciate the hostess accommodating my late party. But my waiter was not polite, not helpful regarding food intolerances/allergies, and overall condescending in nature.

Virtue is always so good. We loved the biscuits, short rib, fish and grits, collard greens, mac and cheese, and banana pudding. Everything was amazing!

Our dinner was fantastic. Alex, our server was friendly and knowledgeable, making great suggestions. Everything was delicious. I loved the blackened catfish and my husband enjoyed the short ribs. Don’t miss the banana pudding! Great atmosphere.

I ordered the lemon chicken entree, mashed potatoes, gumbo appetizer and peach cobbler for dessert. Everything was presented very well and very tasty! The Lemon Chicken was perfection, I absolutely loved the sauce it was cooked in. The mashed potatoes were amazing. The gumbo was a little salty for my liking, but very good with a hint of spice on the back end. The crust on the peach cobbler was a little TOO touch for my liking, but it was very tasty overall.
