    Villa Lulu is a cute spot downtown. My boyfriend and I decided to go here for our weekly date night, and we had a good experience. The salads and appetizers were definitely the highlight; our main courses were just okay. We actually had two servers who seemed to be confused about who was meant to be taking care of us. We had each turn of service question asked twice; we were almost convinced it was a kind of bit/comedy routine. Decent evening, overall.

    Delicious, little neighborhood gem. All the food was great. Owner was super personable and nice, talked with us and gave us some free DELICIOUS dessert. Will come back soon.

    Wife & I shared a shrimp scampi to start. 4 shrimp, but enough. Delectably prepared. A nice buttery garlic lemon. Nothing overpowered. Wife had eggplant Parm,, I had chicken Parm. Both were fabulous. Eggplant was at least 1-1/2" thick overall, with thick, tender individual slices. The chicken covered 3/4 of my plate, with a nice side of linguine. Also rather thick, but tender enough to cut with a fork, and juicy. Service could have been better, but we did see our server in both dining rooms. Overall, really great!

    Great ambiance and gracious hospitality Service was attentive but inexperienced Food was beautifully plated and very good We chatted with other diners who were equally pleased.

    Nice brunch menu with very good service. A plus it's directly across the street from the Shubert Theater. The only negative and it's important that the regular dining tables are on the 2nd floor up a very long flight of stairs. Seating on the 1st floor is either high top seating or the bar.
