Waitress tried to rush through the meal, picking up dishes before they were completely eaten. She got impatient and visibly upset when asked to split the bill.

I love Venus and try to go there as often as possible. Love the drinks. Focaccia bread took forever. At first it was supposed to be to be 5 minutes & I was asked if that was okay and I said yes and then the server moved it to 15 min. After 25 min he came to the table and said it had to be”cooled”. He came 10 more minutes and said it was still cooling. I asked “what is the real story?”. My recommendation would be to just tell the truth from the start!!! I have no idea what was going on but I didn’t like how it was handled… I had ordered a Caesar salad with chicken for my main dish just because I saw focaccia bread on the menu & bread is my weakness. The bread finally came out after we had finished up. I really liked the lady that seated us…she said she was the general manager. We felt so welcomed to Venus when she greeted us.

The food was all right, but the service and ambiance didn't match the price of the food. It was loud and a bit sterile. The cornbread was very dry. The salmon and shrimp and grits were good, but the steaks were just all right. Our server was nice, but not very attentive. We had to ask for things repeatedly.

The food and drinks as always were fabulous. In my opinion the value was great. It was a bit noisy (but we expected that). The service however was a bit mediocre and inconsistent. Overall we had a wonderful time and I am so glad we picked Venus for our New Years Eve celebration!

Great location and nicely arranged tables and high tops. It was a busy night and we were taken care of right away. The drinks menu is amazing and drinks are really good! They make their own whiskey! There's a sense that they care very much about what they make and serve in both food and drink. Food is also creative, fresh and abundant. It's priced about where it should be but not overly so. You know you're getting quality and it's worth it.

This place is fun and everything there is very smooth. Things show up seamlessly and they taste wonderful. Great cocktails (of course).

I've been a regular at Venus for a few years now, but last night's dinner was a bit different. The food was lacking in flavor and the portions were smaller than what we’re used to. We ordered a burger and fries for my boyfriend and fettuccine with Neto sausage for me. Unfortunately, my pasta was undercooked, and my boyfriend’s burger and fries were on the smaller side. A few extra fries would’ve made the plate feel more complete. On a positive note, the cocktails were still delicious.
