   We ate here twice during our stay. The food is wonderful. The only exception is the lobster tempura which was very greasy and overpriced. The service is where this restaurant needs to improve. The small staff tries to do what it can but they are very much outnumbered by the patrons. We waited 45 minutes to be seen by our waiter. Others around us were equally disappointed. The problem lies with management who are not staffing at a level that is Four Seasons. Until management wakes up plan on a long drawn out dining experience.

   Vaimiti is one of the dining options at the Four Seasons Bora Bora. It is an asian-themed restaurant. The restaurant itself is an open outdoor restaurant. There is patio/lounge seating, standard dining seating and "bar seating" along the shorefront. The atmosphere is comfortable, the music was great and it offers a spectacular view of Mount Otemanu. The staff was exceptional! Always friendly, very pleasant, and attentive. The first night we ate at Viamiti, we did not have a reservation (because I could not make one on-line & it was our 2nd nite in Bora Bora and we had hoped there would be other dining options to explore). So we took a chance hoping we could get in. Upon observation, the restaurant was NOT even half full and the Host gently berated us for not having a reservation! I was a little put off by that considering the restaurant never filled more than half full during our visit. The Four Seasons is a 4-Star resort. That said, I was pretty disappointed with the food options, the quality of the items we purchased and that menu items we chose lacked in flavor. I would rate their food items as mediocre. I understand that Bora Bora is an island and much of their supplies have to be imported in, but I certainly did not feel that the menu choices we selected were comparable to a 4-star resort. I also felt that menu items were overpriced. The provisions here are certainly nothing to write home about nor boast about. I was quite disappointed.

   Good food. Service was a little on the relaxed side. Higher staffing levels should be considered.

   This is the best restaurant at the Four Seasons, the food wasn’t great but the setting and view make up for it.

   Vaimiti was our favorite restaurant at the 4 Seasons Bora Bora. We ate there 3 out of 5 nights and got something new every night. The food was very good and the staff was exceptional! Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
