Vaasu captures Chef Atul's spirit and passion for his native India with menus that are inspired by his intrepid travels across the Indian sub continent. All the gastronomical stars align at Vaasu, a canvas of culinary delights combined with locally sourced British ingredients, elevate Chef Atul's famed cuisine to an exceptional level in an atmosphere of urbane sophistication.

Enjoy a two course Set Lunch from £21pp with dishes such as Kashmiri Chicken Chop, Scallops, Mushroom Kebab to start. For Main courses we have Awadhi Chicken Korma, Portuguese Prawn Curry, Saag Gosht. The desserts choices is an indulgent Chocolate Bomb & Gulab Jamun Creme Brulee.

We experienced the 7 course taster menu and it was delicious, especially the tandoori chicken and lamb rump. We did not go with the wine pairing as I thought that would be too much money. The service was great and very fast. The ambience was very good, the place was full. Highly recommended.

The 7 course tasting menu was exceptional, and the paired wines the perfect match for the dishes, with some really delicious wines from India which I'd never expected.

We arrived early and had no problem with changing our booking time. The set lunch is very good value for money.

Delicious food Very attentive friendly staff. I personally dislike supplement payments on a set menu. I prefer the restaurant to offer dishes that are on the set menu without tempting clients with more lavish ones for an extra cost

We ate from the 3 course set menu. Chicken and Lamb starters were delicious. Chicken Tikka Masala very different from 'usual' takeaway, spicier and more tomato flavour. Gorgeous apple pie and my husband said his date pudding was good. All food beautifully presented. Rice portion was very small. Drinks very expensive.

Whilst have eaten frequently here in evening this was first time at lunchtime. Food,value and total experience was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.
