Ulu Kitchen by Merriman is an ocean front restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner service featuring local ingredients and recipes created by chef Peter Merriman.

We have indoor and outdoor dining options, with a full bar, and the most prime dining views in all of Ka'anapali. The breakfast menu features classic favorites like Eggs Benedits, omelettes, pancakes, as well as some unique dishes like the cure (breakfast ramen) and our Hawaiian chilaquiles.

Lunch features our signature smash burger, fresh ahi tuna poke bowl, tempura battered fish and chips, and a fresh local veggie wrap.

Dinner has a seafood forward menu featuring Ahi Sashimi, Grilled Tako, Scallops, Mahi Mahi, Shrimp and Lobster Ravioli. From the land we offer a USDA Prime Beef Filet Mignon, Snake River Farms Wagyu Beef Cheeseburger, and Maui Nut Venison Loin.

We had the best focaccia and lobster ravioli. It was out of this world. Nick, the waiter took extra special care with my food allergies which made it an outstanding experience. We had a front table and watch a beautiful sunset. Highly recommend this restaurant and I’ve already booked two more reservations Aloha.

Experience was great, food was delicious. Mahi was moist. Crab cake app and shrimp was the best. Table was in back by kitchen, not the nicest table. Made another reservation to go back.

Great dinner tonight. We enjoyed the surf and turf and the bistro burger. My hubby thought his surf and turf was excellent. Best filet he has had on Maui and the lobster ravioli was delicious. Sauce and vegetables were delicious. My bistro burger had Gruyère. Geese, mushrooms and fresh greens on the burger. Delicious! Wonderful setting and great service. This was our third meal here this trip, and probably won’t be our last!

Food was very good. Servers however have no idea how to run a high end restaurant. Merrimans, the sister restaurant, is far superior.

We notified the server upon arriving that we were under time constraints as we needed to catch a flight home. He was very attentive to this and served our drinks and food very quickly, I had the lobster ravioli which was a burst of amazing flavors and textures. We finished by sharing the ice cream bar dessert which was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. We will definite return to Uku Kitchen!

Very pleasant setting (although a bit windy that evening). Food was excellent and they have the Monkeypod mai tai (with lilikoi foam). All in all a pleasant evening.
