Ula is a beautiful European Mediterranean restaurant and tapas bar in San Francisco. Sip your martini or quality wine with a seafood-centric menu that has a focus on raw, roasted, and grilled fish and various roasted and grilled meats, pasta, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan selections. The restaurant is maximalist art deco with fixtures that depict jellyfish, oysters, and grand maritime vessels. Just a hop from Union Square, the delightfully vintage dining room begs to be paired with a nostalgic trolley ride and a stroll through the heart of the city. NEW YEAR'S EVE DINNER PARTY + AFTERPARTY. Ring in 2024 in San Francisco with festive fare, beautiful ambiance, and plenty of bubbly to go around. Our Ristorante is offering a four-course menu with champagne toast upon arrival for $125(++) and $50(++) children menu, with choices in each course and gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan selections. This is the only menu available. Live Jazz during dinner with Skyler Leftridge in the Vault Room (6:30 to 9:30 PM) and Ula-la Afterparty with DJ Maryzelle in the Jellyfish Bar (10 PM to 1 AM), who will keep your body vibing with Disco House through midnight. Pedimos atención con opciones gluten free y el primer plato que trajeron estaba contaminado con gluten.. muy poco cuidado en las opciones para alérgicos.. el servicio algo lento además

El lugar muy bonito. La comida desabor normal. Muy caro para lo que es. Se cobran la propina ennla misma cuenta desde antes sin avisar

La comida deliciosa, el lugar muy ameno y agradable, lo elegimos para cenar en noche buena hubo algunos inconveniente pero le comentamos al encargado y enseguida lo resolvió nos dieron una sinceras disculpas y solucionaron todo. Ampliamente recomendado. Se nota la calidad del personal y del servicio. Sin duda cuando volvamos a San Francisco regresamos aquí.

Official first date for me and my new guy. Christmas Eve Dinner was great. Service was awesome, live music was really good so was the food.

I haven’t been in this venue since it was Faralon and the new owners got lucky with the space & thankfully kept the decor. The food selection is decent but the food is overall moderate. Service was ok.. no attention that wine glasses were empty so we poured ourselves! Focaccia bread came with butter but says evo on the menu. I also didn’t like that 20% service charge is automatic added to the bill and the server did not mention that. Will we return probably not as I feel there are other options downtown that you get better value & come away satisfied.

My husband and I came in before seeing Hamilton, to celebrate our 20th anniversary for getting engaged, at this place, when it was Farallon. The only positives about this place were our nice waiter, and the decorem. Our tuna tartar came out with basic pita bread (nothing special), our garlic shrimp appetizer was super basic (didn't even taste like garlic - we could have done better at home), and our salmon entre came out rare...salmon was not cooked! We sent it back, paid our bill and left. They didn't even acknowledge our special occasion. Unfortunately, will never go back there, even though it's where my husband and I got engaged. So sad :(
