Disfrutamos mucho la experiencia de comer en Uchiko. La comida de muy buena calidad, si vas puedes disfrutar de sabores y platos que te sorprenderán.

The food was excellent. Their service was really bad. We sat at our table without sushi, cups, chopsticks, and needing refills on water. It took forever to get our food and once it was time to get our food, we were informed they were out of that type of roll. It’s too bad because the food was really good.

Food is absolutely outstanding. We did the 10 course tasting menu and everything was delicious.

First time there. Service was great. They have a good happy hour. Got so many different dishes, but our favorite was the salmon and yellowtail nigiri. The Waygu strip steak was ok, not great for the small portion to price. Chicken karage was pretty good though. Loved the vibe and the service. Give it a try if you’re up in Plano.

We have been to Uchiko Plano twice, both times choosing the omakase. Our food was very good. The problem we had is that on both occasions there was more than one person taking care of our table. This meant that we didn’t have our drink order until after we had finished our first two courses. In addition, the first time we were there, the pacing was off on the delivery of the food courses which meant a 40 minute wait between courses at one point. We had to leave before the meal was finished even though we had been there 2 hours and 40 minutes. We chose to sit at the counter the second time we went, and had no problem with the food pacing, but the drinks were definitely neglected and the timing of taking the drink orders and their subsequent delivery was badly off. For a restaurant that offers fine dining, the overall experience level is low for meal enjoyment, in spite of the fact that the food is very good, due to these pacing and service issues. The good news is that if the management will address these issues, it will immediately upgrade the dining experience.

Sat at the sushi bar. Just had them take of us and it was a fantastic meal. Will definitely be back.

Had an amazing dinner at Uchiko Plano last night! Our server Sanam was absolutely incredible. She really knew her stuff and made the whole experience so special with her warm personality and great recommendations. Thanks to her attentive service and genuine care, we felt like VIP guests. If you're heading to Uchiko Plano, definitely ask for Sanam - she'll make your night!

Come here often. This time was to celebrate a college graduation. Meal was great as always, however even though the reservation was made days in advance, we were seated at an awful table in the so called “back room”. This space is apparently something new they are trying and essentially it feels like you are no longer in the restaurant …. The ambience that is such an important part of dining at Uchiko was completely lacking. We asked for another table and the wait was very long. Put a damper on the evening for sure.
