   This is the kind of place that surprises you and makes you feel like you have discovered a hidden gem; we tried several restaurants in Sarasota for our few days here and this was exquisite- our favorite- the dishes were presented beautifully and the flavors were spectacular. The Wagu skirt steak, as an example- was perfection - thinly sliced, melted in your mouth and was served with three different sauces. The hummus and baked feta were top level. The service was also friendly and superb. A must try!

   Artsy hotel restaurant with Moroccan flair. However, the eggs benedict for breakfast too heavily spiced and the chicken dinner too bland.

   We enjoyed a delicious meal with music and dancing, and recommend this restaurant, particularly if you like the flavors of the middle east.

   Food good. Waiter helpful in describing food. Dessert especially good. Was seated but my party was already there -- a little odd that host didn't know that.

   One of the better kept secrets in Sarasota (so far)! Not busy on a Tuesday night, outgoing and cordial staff without being too familiar nor pushy. We sampled from over 15 menu items and all of them were a hit with our group. Standouts were the chicken hummus, lamb kebabs and the falafel - its smoky tomato sauce was incredible. And don’t miss the Turkish cake with white pepper ice cream if it’s on the dessert menu when you are there.

   Got there on the early side for happy hour appetizers and drinks. All food choices were unique and intriguing, with a Mediterranean spice twist on almost everything. Different and relaxing!

   Delicious and thoughtful food. Very limited menu but we non-meat eaters made a nice meal from two small plates, a salad, and grouper “shashlik” (who knew?). Dessert was an unexpected and spectacular black sesame crème brûlée.

   We had a great time & dinner. The surprise of the evening was the roaming belly dancer which really spiced up the evening. We will go there again.

   Batu was an excellent waiter…helped with recommendations. We indulged in a variety of small plates…each delicious. If you like mocktails, the Tea-tini is worthy.

    What a great place to go on Saturday night. Good food, great atmosphere and they had a fantastic belly dancer. Really completed the middle eastern vibe! My only negative was we ordered the Lamb from the special Valentine's menu which was listed at $24 and they charged us $30 for it. We didn't complain. The manager Mary made us feel so welcome that we didn't want to say anthing about being overcharged.
