I got my usual dish, the spaghetti squash casserole. It wasn’t cooked as much as normal but still tasted pretty good. The butternut squash soap was really good. The service was great.

I appreciate the healthier food options than other restaurants. The ingredients are fresh. However, the execution and texture/balance/flavors of the dishes today were disappointing. The value for the dishes we ordered was below average for what was expected at this price point. I ordered a tofu scramble for brunch. The vegetables in the dish were scarce, overcooked and mushy. I basically paid almost $20 for a bowl of tofu. My husband ordered an egg scramble dish. Very stingy with the vegetables. It mostly was scrambled eggs with sweet potatoes and lacking the other vegetables in the description on the menu. The oat milk latte was very disappointing…it had no taste and i could barely taste the espresso. The quality of the dishes at this restaurant is going downhill unfortunately.

We make a point to come to True Food Kitchen every time we visit Scottsdale. We’ve always enjoyed it - but not this time. Service was a bit slow but our waitress was very friendly & accommodating. We were however, very disappointed in our food . The Korean noodle dish was bland and tasteless. The noodles in the peanut dish were sticky and overcooked. Most disappointing was the curry dish which I’ve ordered and enjoyed many times - not this time. There were no vegetables in it - no sweet potatoes and only a few slices of radish. It was extremely runny. I doubt we’ll be back for awhile.

I was there with three little girls, and our waitress was very thoughtful and despite the high level of energy from the kids handled the table very well as far as attentiveness, patience, and overall greeting and smiley face. The young ladies upfront who were serving us hostesses were also very friendly despite the kids being a little rowdy at the very end up and down the steps. That’s why we keep coming. A true addition to the dining experience…

I have passed by this restaurant so many times in the Scottsdale Quarter and never knew what this restaurant was all about. Well, let me tell you, you absolutely must try the delicious food at this restaurant! I had the slightly spicy ancient grains bowl with tofu (protein of your choice). The flavorful sweet potatoes, mushrooms, onions, etc. really stood out due to using organic, fresh ingredients. I celebrated my birthday with a dear friend, and we got treated to a complimentary dessert with candle on top! Waitstaff was very friendly and restaurant vibe was hip and trendy. Thanks to the chef and team for having such a large, varied menu! I will definitely be going back!
