Tricky's Restaurant and Bar is a great place to dine. Our large restaurant offers cosy corners for intimate diners as well as space to accommodate large parties. We have created a varied menu to cater for all tastes and budgets. From light lunchtime bites to a hearty three course meal and, there's plenty for the children enjoy as well!

We offer fantastic food, wines, real ales and great service! Combine all these with a warm welcome and you can see why Tricky's is as popular as ever.

From Monday 17th February 2025, we are pleased to be opening for breakfast Monday - Saturdays mornings between 9-11.30am.

When we arrived they had no record of our booking although I had a reminder from Opentable and showed it to the young woman. She said someone else had booked the table although there was no one there. We then had to sit at a different table than the one requested. It was by a window and quite chilly. The food was good as always but unfortunately the empty dessert dishes were not taken away so we moved them to a different table. We have been to Trickys on many occasions and have not had this problem before. May be because the gentleman who usually serves us was not there.

I know breakfast is new to Trickys but to wait over one hour 20 mins to get the breakfast is not good shame as the breakfast it’s self was nice … and by then your hot drink is completely cold … waitress was good and doing her best so obviously down to the management not enough staff for whatever reason .. we even booked our table but didn’t make any difference to waiting times.

Had the £9.50 lunch menu, exceptional value! Big portion, freshly cooked and lovely food. The staff were super friendly too. Highly recommend!

Trickies is a great place to eat, the staff are courteous and friendly. The food is excellent and great value. The venue is clean and comfortable with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Being a local resident, I have visited most of the local establishments but always return to Trickies, whether it's a family celebration, a business lunch or drinks with friends. Highly recommended!
