Trattoria Zooma is now Trattoria Appia. We are the same ownership, team and location and continue to pursuit of the highest quality local and DOP Italian ingredients to prepare simply as our ancestors did. We serve Authentic Neapolitan recipes in a traditional, modern and casual atmosphere with seasonal "al fresco" outdoor dining and fresh house made pasta. Offering an extensive menu of award-winning wines that includes many exclusive selections and flights so you can enjoy an impromptu wine tasting anytime. Trattoria Appia is also available for private parties and corporate events with custom menus, wine lists and seating arrangements. We offer free WiFi and free valet parking.

Open 12 pm to 10 pm Wednesday through Sunday, 5 pm to 10 pm on Tuesday. Closed Monday. For parties larger than 6 please call us directly 401-383-2002 or email events@trattoriaappia.com to better accommodate and answer questions you may have.

We love Appia! The staff are amazing. Food delicious. Our server was great, remembered us from previous times. The hostess is always warm, kind and welcoming. She made sure we were happy with our seats, our meal and made our time with visiting family from out of town very special. We love Karen!

We had a beautiful table right in the front window, great for people watching. We were asked about drinks and asked to have an app put in. We were told that we could not put in an appetizer until we knew our full order. It went downhill from there. The truffle fries were gross and soggy. I have the penne a la vodka and was talked into the house pasta which was also soggy. Would not go back. Very disappointing.

Decent food. I have definitely had better in the North End. Caprese & calamari apps were fine. I got chicken piccata for my meal. It was pretty good. My husband got chicken with homemade pasta in vodka sauce & said it was great. Bread pudding for dessert was delish.

Food was quite a bit saltier than usual, just didn’t have the same feel as the old Trattoria Zooma unfortunately. Nice enough staff, the wine selection was lovely and yes, the bread pudding is still delicious.

You can't go wrong with anything you order. Lasagna, gnocchi, cavatelli all homemade pastas and sauces. Salads fresh and mixed just right. Service is extraordinary and attentive. Valet is so great. No worries about where to park.Highly recommend!

Five different pastas and somewhere exceptional and others were simply great. One of the better federal Hill Italian restaurants we have been to.

Service was great, food and drinks were excellent! Our table became cold every time the front door opened for the first part of our dinner, so that was a little uncomfortable, but improved as the night went on. Portions are not huge, but the quality was very high. We had a wonderful evening here.
