We offer WI-FI for your convenience.There is live piano every Friday and Saturday and sometimes they accompany Franco who sings romantic Italian and American songs. Guest singers always appear.Opera Night has been entertaining visitors and residents of Old Town Alexandria for more than ten years. Produced by Franco, the show goes on the last Sunday of each month, always with different artists, comprised of sopranos and tenors from the Kennedy Center. The show features opera selections, with humorous patter by Verdi, Leoncavallo, Puccini, Mozart, Bizet and Strauss. We are a family friendly restaurant - children are welcome.

Still a lovely Italian restaurant with great service (thank you Guillermo). It can be quite energetic on the weekends. Try the lasagna and their specials. Everything we have tried so far has been wonderful. We’ll be back.

I love that this restaurant feels different than the trendy places in the area. It is a classic restaurant - with tablecloths and S&P on the table. Experienced, thoughtful waitstaff and the ambiance made a delicious meal even more special. We ordered both of the specials which were excellent. The garlic bread - also a unique and delicious side is a great order to sop up the leftover sauce that comes with the meal. Hope to be back.

The starters are excellent, the main courses weren't as good. It's a really nice place and the drinks menu is excellent.

We chose this quaint trattoria to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were seated at a cozy table and the very kind server brought a glass of champagne. Dinner orders were taken promptly but all the courses were served unhurriedly and unobtrusively. All the courses were delicious and outstanding - we had salad, garlic bread, special ravioli, pappardelle and tiramisu. Our server checked on us occasionally but ensured we had our privacy. I had given them some candles and they cheerfully put them on an amazing birthday cake and sang happy birthday. We will definitely return for the warm and friendly service, ambiance, service and amazing food!

It is a very cute, and cozy small area. The food, however, was not to my standard of Italian food. The pasta was tasteless and just meh! They do have good Tiramisu.

Excellent all around. I am glad we left before the live music. I never like live music in these places...it's too loud and I can't focus on conversation. The canned music in the place was just fine.

We sat in bar area. Enjoyed bottle of Chianti. Fried Calamari. Menu is not seasonal. Frittura Mista was a favorite. Gnocchi alla Romana, the pasta tastes store bought. It was chewy. The Italian background music, the standards was memorable. We have known Franco and Max, father and son for decades. Sorry to hear neither one is there anymore. It feels like it's under new ownership.

The bar section had a nice ambiance but the nose level was high (a couple of tables were inches away from an electronic pianist). I imagine that this problem is not there when there is no piano music. The restaurant has another dining room that is quieter but the ambiance is not as great. The service was very friendly and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the ossobuco with risotto.
