Trani’s Dockside, is a new waterside restaurant launched by one of the port town’s best known restaurant families. The restaurant was able to hold a soft grand opening on May 16, the 98th anniversary of the opening of the original Trani’s Majestic Cafe that opened in 1925 in downtown San Pedro.

Great server and atmosphere. We enjoyed lunch more than we had enjoyed dinner previously, as we could hear one another. Dinner had been too way noisy. Great restaurant!

We had a wonderful time; this was our first visit. Jenny was excellent and provided us with good information about the menu and local sites. We will be back.

Trani’s Dockside Station is absolutely amazing! The food is exceptional, service is outstanding and the bartenders are magicians. They truly care for every detail and each time we visit they somehow set the bar even higher.

Mostly very good food. Scallop apetizer and calamari excellent. “American Wagu” beef is not actual Wagu—seemed chewy instead of very tender. Not bad really but not great either.

Our server was polite and kind. She explained all the items in detail and made great suggestions. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend Trani's Dockside Station!

The food and service were excellent. I had requested a table in a quieter area so we could have a conversation without straining to hear. Our table was right next to the bar and feet away from the live performer. The music was fine, but none of us could hear a thing so we gave up trying and ate in silence. The performer started after we were eating or I would have requested a change.

I’ve been enjoying Trani’s food for my entire life. I love how Chef Dustin has built upon the family tradition yet made it his own. Every time I eat here, I enjoy it more than the time before. Can’t wait to return.
