Located in our striking 16th century tower, experience traditional Scottish food with a modern twist as you take in a fitting historical setting complementing our hotel’s natural surroundings and tales of Scottish royalty visiting the site in previous centuries.

Our expert chef team will prepare a series of classic main dishes and tantalising desserts using fresh, locally sourced ingredients that can be paired with a variety of splendid fine wines.

Please note this restaurant is up two flights of stairs and due to the age of the building there is no lift/elevator

Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were greeted by a lovely young lady who showed us to our table. We were immediately offered water, and informed of the soup of the day, and the catch of the day. Another young lady then took our drinks order, which was delivered swiftly. The rosè was excellent! The food was fantastic and again, we didn't have too long to wait. The staff were in constant attendance and always so helpful. A lovely night and not too expensive. We will definitely come back again.

Outstanding meal at Tower. Everything cooked to perfection. The Rack of lamb was amazing. Nice wine, great service.

Good food and excellent service. Ambience was a bit low in terms of the decor and music, but still functional.

Piping hot delicious soup followed by the chicken main course which was one of the best meals I have ever had! The chorizo jam was amazing! Only problem was I didn’t have enough room left for a dessert!

The food was delicious. My husband is a steak lover and he said it was beautifully cooked. The food was well presented and tasty. The value for money was good too. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Things I would like to note… for a fine dining experience, I felt the table and chairs were a bit shabby, with chips in woodwork. A tablecloth on the table would have been preferred. Whilst waiting staff were lovely, some did not have a knowledge of what was on the menu, particularly the catch of the day. Otherwise, we had a lovely evening and even received a surprise dessert for our special occasion.

Arrived and no other diners but staff made us stand with a menu to decide whether we wanted lunch or afternoon tea. They have no disabled access up to the restaurant area which wasnt disclosed, and there was a putrid smell in the entire room which was so strong I asked to leave and dine in another area. I was told to go to the bar downstairs, not a single staff member was there and when I went to reception to ask she the offered for me to eat at the reception area!! AVOID!! Place is like a nursing home from the 1970’s and needs a proper clean
