Beware. This was supposed to be a very special pre- Christmas dinner with close friends. But the entire experience was far short of expectations and price. The laid back waiter was disinterested in our party . Our friend ordered a Chivas on the rocks. “ What’s that?” Was his reply. It took 45 minutes for dinner to come. The $62 filet was dry and tasteless. The petite filet was less than petite for $52. It was loud and the wait staff seemed bored. Unprofessional and way overpriced. Not going back.

Drinks took over 35 mins and food was cold! Server was fabulous but the bar was super slow and took forever to get drinks…

Good food. Boston prices. Service is hit or miss and tonight was a miss. The server was nice but didn’t stop at the table to check on us a single time after appetizers or meals were delivered by support staff - had to stop her twice to request drinks or request the check. It was an hour after our reservation time before we ordered our entrees, and not because we weren’t ready. The food was very good. Mozzarella Carroza (excellent); mascarpone mashed potatoes (excellent); filet mignon (very good); onion strings (excellent); Dry aged strip (excellent). The cocktails were prepared very well too.

Great food, lots of variety. Attentive service. Noise was louder than usual, perhaps more dining out for the holiday? Some mix-up initially regarding the table I had requested as they wanted to seat me at a high top in bar and I had requested low top in dining room. After about 5 minutes this was resolved to my satisfaction. It's one of our regular go to restaurants and I highly recommend!

Not a great night at Toscana. Initially the waitstaff was fairly attentitive but they were busy that night. The big complaint is from the time our irder was taken for food it took over 45 minutes and much prodding of our waitress to get it on the table. My friend’s swordfish was a very thin and small piece and I know he went away hungry. I think we will choose another restaurant next time. Most disappointed in the slow service.

Always a pleasure to spend an evening at Toscana. The food is consistently delicious - my husband had his regular 36 ounce long bone rib eye and I had pasta. And the service is second to none. Christina always makes us feel like home. Thank you!

They "ran out" of meatballs and calamari at 1pm on a Sunday. They open at noon so not sure how that happens at an "Italian" restaurant. Was the 2 things we were actually looking forward to having there.

The food and service were excellent. It was a busy Saturday night, and the restaurant doesn't really have the space to handle the influx of customers waiting for their tables so the area around the front door, check-in desk and bar was very congested. However, the people checking in were very professional considering how busy they were.
