Love the crab cakes. However, serving them with grits? I hope you find something more nourishing for the $40. Grits are pasty and BLAH. Love Bree. She's a trip. We are regulars.

We love when we get the chance to go to Tonic (it's about 1/2 hour drive each way for us) and it was the first time we spent our NYE there. We aren't late people, so we reserved an early seating and wanted to catch the early music. Tonic was the perfect pick. Our seat placement (we requested lounge area) was the perfect ambience for us, the service was fantastic (kind, pleasant, and attentive), and the food was delicious. I had the special octopus and prawns (chefs hit this one out of the park-SO good) and my hubs had the half chicken. Our apps; the hummus, crab cocktail and tuna tartare were divine as well. We cleaned our plates and left with a full belly. This is a special place for us and always a treat when we get to go. Thanks for an another wonderful experience!

We dined here for the first time at an early hour on New Year’s Eve. Our server was very good, very attentive to any need we may have had, but the prices were a bit high for what was served, e.g., $40 for 4 scallops as an entree seems excessive, as well as $50 for the catch of the day which was a whitefish. The ambience was nothing special, just a big open room. The evening was okay, nothing bad, but also nothing special. Probably won’t be back.

This is a spot that I've been covering a visit to fire a long time and it didn't disappoint. The cocktails had a nice punch but didn't bowl you over with the distinct burn. The seafood tower was fresh and paired with the most amazing sauces. The steaks were so tender, I barely needed a knife and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were so light but flavorful. Then the creme brulèe was prepared with such thought that every bite was crisp and accompanied with a silky cream. Paired with the latte, this was a prefect meal in a beautifully curated atmosphere with the most charismatic and timely service provided by our server, Teddy. This is the perfect venue for a date night or big event, don't miss out on Tonic!
