Timber & Salt is a downtown Redwood City restaurant and bar serving quality steaks, seafood and craft cocktails. Our kitchen, led by award-winning chef Joshua Regal serves fresh, seasonal dishes highlighting the best ingredients California has to offer. We also serve one of the best burgers in Silicon Valley. Our cocktail program features hand-crafted cocktails using select spirits, house made syrups, bitters, tinctures and specialty garnishes. We also feature a deep list of spirits, fine wines and specialty beer. Both the kitchen and bar utilize fresh ingredients from our farm in Woodside California. Timber & Salt has intimate indoor seating for over 50 guests and an enclosed, heated outdoor patio for up to 30 guests. We are open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday.

Had a lovely dinner there. We had reservations and they seated us promptly even though the restaurant wasn't full. We had the special old fashion and horchata hot chocolate. The hot 🍫 was not hot and wasn't tasty at all. The old fashion was okay but should have stuck to just a regular one. For food we had the arancinis, smash burger and fried chicken. All of the food was well prepared and delicious. It wasn't the best I have had, but it was good. Service was very nice and fast.

Brussel sprouts were amazing as always. We were a group of 4 so we shared the Tomahawk and it was plenty. Drinks were also fantastic with a wide range from spirit forward to pleasantly sweet.

Service was excellent from hostess to our server. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. The tomahawk was so good. Will go back soon.

Everything was delicious, including the cocktails and the warm olives and arancini appetizers. The seared sea scallops served on a celery root purée were divine. The center cut Norwegian salmon was quite generous (14 ounces!); a side of pumpkin w/pepitas and pomegranate was a perfect accompaniment. Everyone at the table who ordered steaks were very happy with their meals as well.

We love Timber & Salt! The food is great, the service is awesome, and it's a comforting and happy place to be. We visit every week and always have a great time.

The service was fantastic and the attention to detail was amazing to watch. Great craft cocktails. The presentation and the flavor of the food was incredible. What a great find in Redwood City. Will definitely return.

We had a great evening at Timber & Salt. Cocktails, service and ambiance were wonderful. I enjoyed a delicious steak and my husband had the scallops were good but felt they were served on the cool side. The Brussel sprouts were delish! We will definitely be back to try their mussels and the fried chicken

Great experience. Could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Fried chicken is great, also love the street corn salad. Great cocktails too.
