Leaside was the neighbourhood with everything a young family could need -- except bacon and eggs. Native to the area, Hayley and Robbie know it’s the natural setting to raise their daughter, Sophie. But, before 4 o’clock, it was a challenging place to feed her. They set out to give the neighbourhood the brunchtime local Leaside (and Sophie) deserved.
Tailored to the family-oriented community, the menu honours all generations. It features the crucial classics (like the Benedict), hipster staples (like the Avocado toast), and kid-curated essentials (like pb&j pancakes). From top to bottom, the food is crafted around the intention of what can be house made, freshly squeezed, and locally sourced. Sophie’s opened in August 2018 and has had lines out the door ever since. Casual and fun, the place immediately looked like it had been on the Bayview strip all along – because it should have been.

Sunday brunch was very good. The eggs Bennington with steak, farmhouse fry skillet, breakfast sandwich with avocado and the yogurt bowl all got great reviews. The omlette was a bit disappointing, not the fluffy one I expected, more like formed scrambled eggs. Overall we were all satisfied. Parking was an issue, to be expected.

I met a friend for breakfast a few days ago. We were both looking forward to try this new find. We were not disappointed. My eggs benedict were perfect. My friend was pleased with her breakfast choice as well. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and not intrusive. We were there on a weekday so it wasn't busy. I will definitely be returning to Tiarre's to sample other items on its menu.

Deeply disappointed. The portions were so tiny. We were told scones were from Cobb’s across the street. A very chewy piece of bread with fig jam and teeny sliver of Brie on it (promotion picture not even close). Very disappointing. Will not go back.

My salmon eggs Benedict was frozen cold and wet in one spot which made it taste watery and bland. That was unpleasant. Everyone else enjoyed their pea meal bacon dishes very much. The salad was very fresh and good and the potatoes and the drink.

Cute little spot for some high tea, decent value for money and if you want an extra bite or drink it's available too. Happy to see this place open a few hours past brunch time. Not many people were there at 4 so it almost felt like we had a personal server.

Honestly, really love this place but severely understaffed waited over half an hour did not even receive our coffee or have our orders taken ended up having to leave due to having an appointment.

The food was OK but nothing special. Salad from a bag is not very exciting. Chairs are metal and very uncomfortable. Nicely decorated interior.
