A new rooftop restaurant in downtown Easton. Now open on the seventh floor of The Commodore building. Thyme Rooftop Grille offers a progressive New American menu thoughtfully designed by executive chef Brad Shive. The restaurant offers a extensive cocktail list and wine program for guests to enjoy as they dine overlooking the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers, College Hill and downtown Easton.

All our food and pork belly blueberry appetizers were delicious. We went for lunch on Sunday and I had the burger which was cooked to perfection. The signature cocktails are delicious as well as the deserts. Service is excellent. A very nice restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

Overall, great experience. $5 valet makes parking a breeze; tables a bit cramped but most are on windows overlooking river and provide really nice view. Food is the high point, well-prepared and presented. Asian short ribs especially enjoyed; I had veal cheeks, extremely tender and paired with polenta cake and spinach, though beef broth medium a bit heavy. Salads also noteworthy. Wines are worldly - may varietals and countries included, mostly lesser-known vineyards and wineries at about 250% markup. A few glitches tonight with wine and appetizers related to service - appetizer comped by Manager - but these were minor in comparison to what was an overall very nice experience. Will definitely be returning.

Our server Emily was very friendly, the food was excellent, the drinks very good. Overall, we had a very nice dinner. We had dined there last year and were very disappointed with the quality of food, but they changed something because the food and plating was excellent. We definitely will be back. Thank you !

We took my son to Thyme on his last night in town before heading back to college. The view was amazing and I would definitely recommend a visit even if just to experience that. My wife and son each enjoyed a cocktail (Dark and Stormy and a Blood Orange & Grapefruit Margarita). They both said that these were delicious. We started with the Burrata and that was delicious. Our main courses were really what left us disappointed. My wife had the Filet Mignon and she found the seasoning of the meat to be lacking and the mashed potatoes were bland. My son had the pasta special and he felt this was decent but not overly impressive. I went with the Rabbit Ragú at the recommendation of our server. I was leaning towards the veal cheeks but under her recommendation I had the rabbit. Reading others reviews I wished I had went with my original choice. The rabbit was decent if you haven’t had it before but I found the overall dish to be salty. We were impressed with the service and the ambience but the food lacked what we expected from a fine dining experience. My overall feeling was that there was a lot of effort to create a great visual experience for patrons but the flavors of the food is where this team fell short.

Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The ambiance is nice. The bar is nice. The food and the service were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant if you will be in the Lehigh Valley.
