We were having a night in Harrogate after visiting friends in York. Found this place near our hotel, Hilton Double Tree, and booked based on reviews. The food is absolutely fantastic. Almost a completely individual take on tapas and modern cuisine. I highly recommend the fat bread, 10z bavette and steak cut chips with a nice red. Ambience was lovely and service was top notch. We had the kids with us too as half term and they enjoyed theirs just as much (kids menu). However, for adults, I wouldn't miss out on this menu if I was visiting Harrogate.

The service here was good, staff were kind and attentive. The venue is pretty. The food is disappointing and mediocre at best. Everything I ordered came missing items, of which seemed critical elements of the dishes. When said missing items were pointed out “apologies from the chef” were received alongside a pot of missing elements. Very odd indeed. Food was under seasoned and slightly over cooked. The old Michelin recommended plaque needs removing from the front of the building, this is false advertising at its best, the instagram feed of this place and the reviews I read before going were a far cry from my experience. A real shame.

The food is v good, we were a party of 6, mainly ate Sunday roast however at busy periods don’t expect to get food served at your table quickly. It’s worth waiting for tho and guess the food is freshly cooked, hence the wait.

Very pleasant dining room. Food looked promising on the menu but not delicious when served. Halibut well cooked but served in a lake of butter; bread brought to the table late and stale; etc The lady who served us was very professional, no complaints about service. Wine was nice. Maybe an off day.

Unusual menu, staff well trained on menu and able to describe each dish as they had tried it. Similarly with the wine list. Guy made a recommendation and the wine was excellent. Highly recommend the pork cheek and the halibut. Truffle chips, dipped in the pork cheek gravy were to die for! Great venue, great staff and great atmosphere.

The staff are lovely at Three’s a Crowd, they are all very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant is also really nice. We went for the small plates on the new menu, we really enjoyed the monkfish scampi and hummus. We also had the chips, Korean chicken and riblets - these were nice but didn’t blow us away.
