We are located in the historic Lalime's space in the Westbrae neighborhood of Berkeley, CA.

Our intentions with three.one four was to create a dining experience that is so captivating, it transcends all others. Our menu features small bites, salads, and World Class rustic pies from acclaimed Chef Mario Vollera. We utilize high quality Italian cheeses and fresh local products in our food and our menu is partnered with a carefully curated wine list featuring an extensive by the glass offering. We believe that our elevated food paired with our warm, intuitive, yet unobtrusive service style will help make three.one four a buzz-worthy neighborhood destination for many years to come.

First time here and everything was fabulous. Our waiter was tremendous and the creativity of the menu makes us coming back for more.

Food is really good. Ambience in front room is way too bright and loud, wish it were more like the chill dark quiet bar area. Chairs are awful, way low to ground and forced to lean way back. Poor chair choice.

The pizzas were good and varied but we were disappointed in the limited menu. Some of us wanted to order pasta and not pizza but the pasta options were few and all were heavily cream and carb loaded. We sat outside and were warm enough with the heaters but there was no ambience in the outside area--it could have been made more garden-like and inviting. As the only real stars were the pizzas, we will probably forego a return visit and order pizza from Cheeseboard instead.

I lived in Italy for a year and three.one four’s pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The salad was amazing as well. Full bar/craft cocktails, great wine selection, and an incredible dessert menu. We’re already looking forward to returning to try some of their pastas and salads. We forgot that we were there during happy hour and were surprised at how reasonable our check was for such a memorable dining experience.

Delicious pizzas and salads and the roasted Brussels sprouts are especially good. And the restaurant felt festive. We are so happy that 3.14 is back!

This is an interesting combination of a bar with pizza. The cocktails are outstanding. Try the Bella - it was perfect. Have a nice wine list leaning heavily into the Italian. But both the ones I tasted were great, so there's decent choices. The appetizer was also really, really good. We had the friend gnocchi which sounded weird but were excellent little pillows filled with cheese with jam and cheese squares. Very good to go with cocktails. The little gem Cesar salad was also perfect. They have an interesting combination of pizzas. The Genovese was good. I generally prefer a slightly thicker crust, but for a thin crust pizza it was good. The pizzas are pricey. The bar has a happy hour, too. Service was exceptional, friendly without being too much. They have plenty of outside seating in addition to their elegant interior, so people with children and fresh air aficionados have a place to sit. Overall, a nice evening.
