   The service was very slow, and not very attentive. We did arrive 10 minutes early, and told there had been a rush on tables, so the food order would be slow. He served our drinks and said he would be back to take our order. He came back 20 minutes later. When the food came, the veg was cold, and the carrots were inedible. We heard him saying to another customer that they were in between tenants, and it showed. We have been visiting north Norfolk for over 40 years, and visited the Three Swallows dozens of times. When I booked, I mentioned it was my 70th birthday on that day. I wanted it to be special. I left dissatisfied and disappointed by the overall experience. I didn’t leave a tip as I normally would.

   Our favourite pub in that area when we visit family. Always very good in every way. Extremely good service, lovely food and dog friendly.

   First time visiting today despite it being so close and after several recommendations - Sunday Lunch Menu and food was excellent, service professional and friendly and the place was lovely - parking right outside too, def return and can not recommend highly enough My wife enjoyed the slow cooked pork which she commented was the best she had had for a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom pie - both served with all the trimmings, lashings of delicious gravy too - well done to the whole team

   What a shame. My favourite pub on N Norfolk Coast but if today had been my first experience, I wouldn’t be back. Your staff are a credit to you, v friendly and hard working but spent a lot of time today apologising to every table for the wait. If you aren’t able / willing to hire additional staff, then don’t accept so many table bookings! We arrived at 12.50 for a 1pm booking. Order taken at 1.30… mains arrived 2.20pm… and when it arrived, the food was tired and over-cooked.

   Very poor service. Waited for someone to take our order. Ended up going to the bar and placing our order. After half an hour the same person asked if we’d ordered. We said yes. They checked the til and said they hadn’t placed our order by mistake. They would rush our order through. Waited another 10 mins. Someone else said had we ordered. I explained the situation. Waited another 10 mins. Got our order. In all, we waited another hour for two roast beef dinners.

    Lovely afternoon spent over lunch. We were running quite late but the pub still accommodated us and even helped out by allowing us to sit at a different table than they had allocated to help with the fact that we had our dog. It was lovely and warm and clean. The food was lovely, menu was good, although the website says pizzas which weren’t on the menu but maybe they’re only a certain day.? The sticky toffee pudding was fabulous! Staff were polite and friendly. I would certainly visit again. Thank you for having us.
