You never know what you’re going to get when the restaurant you go to isn’t even on Yelp! But it came up as available for reservations on Open Table on the Friday night before Christmas! So there we were! We took a shot (after all, it’s not every year you celebrate your 27th wedding anniversary! No Pressure Three Roses!). (spoiler alert, they didn’t disappoint and we made yet another stellar choice together! Year 28 is starting strong!)! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door by the lovely staff. The hostess escorted us down the stairs. I immediately felt like I was on a boat. A very nice boat! The colors (navy white and gold) were so very pleasing. The lighting was perfect. Bright enough to see everything, but soft enough as to let you relax after a long week! Our server was Very attentive. Letting us know they have only been open for a week (they opened mid December 2024 I believe) and that tonight was her first night (?) as well! She did a wonderful job and we felt well taken care of all evening. My water never went dry and I didn’t have to ask for a refill at any point throughout our dinner. I ordered a Kir Royale (difficult to find a bar that carries cassis. So the bartender made it with grapefruit juice. It was very good!)! Again, our server was very helpful in taking excellent care of us! She answered all our questions (well let’s be honest, all of my questions! My husband is the type of guest you only hope for because he likes everything! Easiest person to please!). We ordered the beef carpaccio and crab dip. My husband said the carpaccio was quite good. (I don’t eat red meat so I can’t weigh in here. However, the presentation was appealing). The crab dip was hot and so delicious! Very well balanced and served with a homemade salsa of sorts that was as good as the dip. Definitely not just a garnish!! For dinner, my husband ordered the French Dip sandwich. He enjoyed it. The roll was hearty enough to hold up against the sandwich filli

What a wonderful experience. Great selection on their menu. Easily accommodated special dietary requests. The fried green tomato BLT was absolutely delicious and my friend loved her roast beef sandwich and dip. Both were hearty servings. Great service and very reasonably priced. I’ll definitely be back

Great new spot in downtown Canton! The cocktails were solid, and our entrees & dessert were full of flavor. We will definitely be back.

Canton has another delightful downtown restaurant. Only in its second week; so, there are some things to work on. But we enjoyed the food snd loved the renovated space.Toffee pudding provided a nice ending.

Great new restaurant in Canton. Lovely wait staff. Food was good, except steak was way fatty & spinach was super salty, but was still an enjoyable experience. Awesome Margarita & my husband raved about the shrimp dip. Will definitely be back.

They were only open for a week, and we went on a night where Canton had a holiday event, so parking was scarce, and the restaurant was having to deal with late arrivals, etc. The food was great, cocktails took a bit long to get, but again, it was busy, and they only had one person behind the bar. For a tavern, the bar is very small. My husband and I prefer bar seating and hoped it would be larger. The space is also a bit awkward and tight, especially with the kitchen being at the front of the house, taking up a good bit of space. They did a nice job with seating and lighting though! There was one larger party they accommodated by putting chairs at the end of a booth, which almost entirely blocked the path to other seating and the bar (glad the fire marshal didn't show 😉) and our booth was set right at the bathrooms. Outside of the not so hot set up (they did a nice job with the space they have), they are doing a fantastic job, especially for a newly opened restaurant. We did notice some stairs as we were leaving, so perhaps there was more to the space than we saw. The food was amazing, as was the service. We are so happy to see new spots open up and will definitely be back.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we saw the beautiful transformation from the previous business to the relaxing foody space that this is now. Everything was just perfect. My only (and it is a very small only) complaint is the value of the cocktails for the drink to ice ratio. All in all a definite place to enjoy a really good meal in the local area.

Our server, Erica was very attentive and our drinks were delivered quickly. Our entrees were all delicious and also arrived right on time. We had Fish & Chips, Salmon, and their burger. All were prepared well and very tasty! We will be going back soon. My husband has already been twice this week. Thanks to Salem for a wonderful and beautiful new downtown Cantonn dining option !
