As you would expect from a restaurant nestled on the coast of Northumberland, we have cast out the net when it comes to freshly caught local seafood. Our emphasis on local produce and ingredients doesn’t stop on the shoreline. We had a great meal on New Years Day which was made even more special by the waitress Anne-Marie who went above and beyond to make our meal/Whittling experience superb. Thank you to Anne-Marie and the rest of the staff

The ultimate winter cuddle. Comfort food at a very high standard in very comfortable surroundings. Sitting beside a log fire savouring a beautiful venison pie is winter heaven

Very Nice Restaurant. Attentive staff. Well spaced out tables. Excellent service. Great array of drinks. Cosy and warm with the log burner on. Would highly recommend

Booked breakfast as a special treat for our daughter and grandchildren who were visiting. Food and service was average. Looked liked they were busy so breakfast took over 30mins to arrive and with 2 young children not great. Also table was poorly laid out had to ask for cups and missing cutlery. Coffee was cold when it arrived and had to ask for fresh coffee. Overall poor experience and would have expected so much more. Cold morning would have expected the fires to be on and make the place cosy. We sat in at the bar area which is nice however next to the door and having the extra fire would have made all the difference. Disappointed.

Food was very disappointing and massively overpriced. Location is good, but I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t.
