The White Horse in Churton, the very first pub from Elite Bistros, the award winning team behind, Sticky Walnut, Burnt Truffle, Hispi, Wreckfish, Pinon and Kala.

You'll find a warm welcome, a great range of beers and well stocked bar plus all the fantastic food you have come to expect from Elite Bistros. Our toasty open fires are perfect to while away the hours with the newspapers or when the sun shines you can enjoy our terrace and beer garden.

Our kitchen is open 7 days a week, 12.00-8.00pm Mon-Thurs, 12.00-9.00pm Fri-Sat and 12.00-7.30pm on Sundays.

Upgrade your afternoon with afternoon tea by the fire at the White Horse in Churton. Available Monday - Saturday from 12pm-4pm. Not available on days of special events such as Valentine's Day and Guest Chef Nights Savour a curated selection of delectable treats, from freshly baked scones, sausage rolls, delicate finger sandwiches and sweet treats. All prepared with the finest ingredients by our team of chefs. Enjoy with freshly brewed tea and coffee and a glass of fizz for £28pp.

On Wednesdays* we quiz. 8pm kick off each week with a £1pp entry... the potential winner takes all! If there's no winner it'll roll over until the next week. Sometime it's Play Your Cards Right, sometimes it's based on The Chase. Sometimes it's just a good old-fashioned Q&A So come join us... book a table at 7pm dine with us. Quiz participants can enjoy extended hours of our '2 plates for £22' offer. With frickles, fresh cask pints and of course, lots of good company... what more could you ask for! (sometimes on Thursdays so please check for upcoming dates!)

Had a lovely evening meal which was delicious but the food choices were limited. Loved the ambience and service was first class Will definitely be back

Nice setting and atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food choice varied and of a high quality. The restaurant was busy but we didn’t have to wait long for drinks or the food to arrive. The food was delicious.

Lovely venue for Sunday lunch. I had arancini to start which was lovely and I really enjoyed it. I then had a roast beef dinner which overall was nice but I wasn’t blown away by it. Gravy was excellent but I’d have preferred it on the side rather than on the plate as there was too much. Only three roasties isn’t enough for a roast dinner. Also although the veg was nice, two veg again seems a bit mean especially when the Yorkshire pudding is huge and takes up the whole plate so there isn’t room for anything else. Roast beef was pink and very thinly sliced but it was delicious and very tender. Dessert was spiced apple pie which was a small portion for £8 and although tasted nice, it just didn’t look appetising at all and came with a small scoop of ice cream. I enjoyed the meal overall but probably would t visit again as overall I didn’t feel it was value for money and I’ve had better elsewhere

This was a lovely birthday meal for 2 family members. I mentioned this on arrival and, with minimal notice, the kitchen produced two Happy Birthday chocolate greetings plates with a piece of delicious cinder toffee. The meal generally was very well-prepared and tasty. Excellent negroni to start and good quality house wines.

When visiting the White Horse it is always welcoming and you immediately feel at home. A roaring fire and lovely staff. We both had a large plate and a pudding and the food was excellent. We had a seafood pie and a beef and ale pie which was a special. The tastes were out of this world. For puddings we had a croissant and butter pudding with ice cream and a crème brûlée. Again they were so different to normal fayre and a real pleasure. The combination of lovely ambience and special food was a lovely experience.

Staff here are wonderful super welcoming and to me that makes all the difference Food was good too was a little empty so not much atmosphere but I’d suspect it’s lovely on a full day Thanks guys

Love this pub, the food is so good. I had the nicest cheese and onion pie last night with gorgeous chips - we will definitely be back. All of our meals were very good. Huge collection of interesting cook books to check out. Great friendly staff too

An outstanding local eatery which never fails to impress. The food is excellent and always melts in the mouth. Most definitely worth a journey. Staff are always pleasant and helpful.
