Decent "bar food" for the most part. Seafood was pretty average at best. Service was great as was location.

The little neck clams are a must-have. The broth is so delicious; we asked for extra bread! We also enjoyed the scallop appetizer, grilled caesar salad, and sweet potato fries.

First time at the Watering Hull. Comfortable feel, industrial looking but cozy, overlooks the courtyard below and can see 96 Street. Nice menu, we enjoyed the fish tacos, portabella sandwich and crab cake dinner. Had a few drinks, there was a good selections of draft beers. Not crowded on a Friday night but was after the Labor day holiday. We did make reservations with open table to be sure we got a table. Would go back again next time we are visiting Stone Harbor.

Food was very good except fish taco shells were rubbery. Was also miffed at hostess attitude when she declined to seat our party of two in a slightly larger table at a window.

Watering Hull is great for the change of pace from the usual spots on 96th street, but DO NOT go on a Friday or Saturday. They are a new place, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt , but they cannot handle the rush. Food is much better and carefully prepared during the week. Price are a bit steep for the portions too. Regardless, I will probably go back at some point - just not on the "can't miss" list. IMPORTANT: do not go there if you have a food allergy. Their staff is not knowledgeable enough about the food. We had a bad incident where my cousin was given peanuts, with a peanut allergy, even after the waitress and chef both assured us there were no peanuts (even though we saw the peanuts). Better to avoid if you have food allergies.

Great family restaurant in Stone Harbor - food is fresh and uniquely delicious; kids menu is more mature than most with healthy seasonal fish and not just fried standards - a welcome change for parents; adult food menu has wide variety for everyone in your group - food is fresh, served in good sized portions and house specialties are fantastic; drink menu is varied and creative and the drinks go down easy in this laid back yet lively restaurant sitting atop Stone Harbor's new and improved Harbor Square. Service is friendly and fast. Big screen TVs featuring live sporting events (we didn't miss any Olympic coverage this summer!) and Live music make it one of our favorite new spots in town.

My wife's pulled pork carnitas were good. Sha bang bang chicken and shrimp lacked flavor and the chicken was chewy. The noise level was deafening. Would not recommend despite the restaurant having one of only four liquor licenses on the island.

Best thing was the plantain chips! Have a drink enjoy the band..but not dinner. Had the tuna poke over salted and a little fishy. The grilled romaine was terrible. The shrimp and chicken curry house specialty had three shrimp and a very small piece of chicken. The waitress was nice but the food was truly awful.
