We were so excited to eat here tonight and tomorrow as we are staying at the resort but after tonight we cancelled tomorrow. My appetizer was bland. My husband’s came with stale croutons. My entree has a glutinous sauce that killed the dish and my husband’s chicken sandwich had no flavor and cold fries. As the staff took almost untouched dishes away they said nothing not asked how everything was. And we were there celebrating a birthday and there was zero acknowledgment. So sad.

Server was uninterested in being helpful and not friendly. The amount of food received for the price of a thanksgiving Turkey dinner was an absolute scam. Great ambiance but unfortunately that was the only good thing about this place.

Disappointing Thanksgiving dinner. Requested regular menu instead of the buffet while making reservations, but forced to go with the buffet or leave. The buffet was a mess, empty servers, etc. Felt sorry for the staff who were really trying to do their best! Way overbooked IMO.

My family and I have eaten at Chaminade many times over many years and this was the worst experience ever. I’m sure they tried hard but it did not live up to the standards we are used to for this establishment. We were seated outside for dinner and when we realized how cold it was out there we asked to be seated inside but they could not accommodate our request. There were a few heaters but not enough. It’s not comfortable when you have to keep your wool jacket on during the whole meal. The food was mediocre. The rolls were cold ,the ham was extremely salty. We had to wait for about 10 minutes for mashed potatoes to be replenished. The desserts were too sweet. Everyone in our party was disappointed.

Thanksgiving buffet was fantastic. A wide variety of options meant everyone in our party found plenty of favorites. Desserts were mostly too sweet for us. Service was friendly and the outside seating was lovely, and unexpected! We lucked out with a beautiful day. Thanks to all the cooks, servers, and staff who made this all possible.

Best Thanksgiving ever. Perfect weather and my adult son and I sat on the terrace. I'm not usually a fan of corporate hotels or restaurants but the buffet was remarkable, the view breathtaking and we were not hurried. We asked about hiking trails and were given a map and pointed in the right direction. We took a lovely 3 mile hike along redwood trails afterwards. It's the irst time I haven't cooked a Thanksgiving meal in 35 years!

Waaaaay too expensive! Was okay with $85 per person on Thanksgiving since our plans for 3 people changed a few days before, but then we had add ons of %14 and %4 and then a tip was expected! Should have at least been given a complimentary mimosa! Also we assumed we would have a luxury dining experience but the main room wasn’t open for our time (11:00 was all we could get) so we ate outside—-not my desire. Seemed like most tables were for large groups but lots were empty. We’re locals, go there often. Price was ridiculous!

I ordered corned beef hash. It was not corned beef, but chunks of bacon (?), Ordered eggs over med, the whites were still runny. My friend had a club sandwich which is enjoyed. Waitress was very nice, service was good. Food never quite measures up. By the way, they were not busy at all.
