   If you want to feel boujie (not on a budget) this is the place to be. We reserved a table for 4 which came with bottomless mimosas and 3 course set menu, $69 per person including tip. The service was amazing; they accommodated a last minute gluten allergy and my friends were late to the reservation. The server was super understanding and didn’t rush us, so we definitely appreciated all of this. We started with scones (they were tiny - pictured in the cage) with a very modest serving of preserves for 4 people. The second course you could choose one of two options from the set menu, both are pictured. We got 3 eggs Benny at our table and everyone’s poached eggs were hard (we wanted runny yolk, maybe ask for that specifically if that’s what you want as the server didn’t ask). My partner also had a tiny serving of preserves with his meal (as seen in the photo). We asked for more preserves for my partners extra scones that came with his meal and they allowed that- so thank you! Overall we were expecting more bang for our buck. We found that the cost for the amount and quality of food didn’t add up, however the atmosphere and bottomless mimosas was exactly what we needed. We will be returning for the vibes and nibbles but eating a meal elsewhere as the cost for value didn’t make sense.

   Anniversary afternoon tea was so appreciated during our 50th wedding anniversary. The speciality pink scones were a nice touch. :-)

   Excellent choices of tea and cozy with my niece. Checking this place out was such a treat for brunch. Bacon benedict was delicious and really liked how they played a bridgerton playlist in the background.

   Wonderful food the gluten free churros waffles are so good and their Afternoon tea was beautiful made I had my daughter's birthday party there and it was so wonderful thank you VANITEA

   Great Brunch at Vanitea Room. Service was excellent and food was well presented, tasty and different from your standard fare. Have also enjoyed their afternoon tea service in the past and it was also excellent

   I love Vanitea it's a gem in the city. I went for brunch after many years and it was cute and overall tasty but one of the items lacked flavour. Loved the beef bacon eggs benny. Unfortunately, the payment system was down and they could only take cash, which I didn't have, but a friend did so that saved us, otherwise we were told to go to an ATM down the street which wasn't ideal.

   Not worth the price - bottomless mimosas are pure juice. Food was ok

   Vegan food for brunch and gluten free was a home run, loved everything I had. Service was attentive and timed perfectly. Will definitely be back!

   Fabulous time was had with my wife for an impromptu brunch and afternoon tea. A welcome surprise to have a green shakshuka? Very interesting and quite delicious. Reminded me of back home. Nice scones too. Will be back.

    I used to love Vanitea tearoom but this visit in 2025 made me never want to go again. The room was cold with the door opening in the little still beautifully decorated space. There were too many inexperienced staff who did not know the menu interacting with us causing the order to get confused. There is nothing on the sparse and unappealing menu for less than 24$ - a basket of 6 scones for 24$ I don't think inflation has been that much. 25 $ for two squished croissants named Crowaffles with no other bits of breakfast potato or fruit or anything, a regular 10cent ice cream cone on top, why? I ended up paying nearly 50$ for a really sub par expereince. I felt really ripped off. This is a luxury place, but it felt cheap to me.
