Our goal is to provide a stress-free catering experience coupled with the best food in Houston! The majority of our guest come to The Union Kitchen for our ability to craft unique, customized menus instead of the standard 'select from menu' experience. While our guest are welcome to choose menu items from our menu, we specialize in custom menus that combine our guests' taste and budget requirements with what's in season. We can also provide a complete service staff fo an additional hourly charge. Full linen and dish service is available upon request. No need to panic about logistics! Pésima experiencia . Tuve desayuno con mi amiga en este restaurante . El desayuno estaba completamente frío, además de eso el café estaba derramado por todos los bordes de la taza y sobre el plato . Tuve que haber tomado una foto 😣

We went for happy hour and the tree lighting. The drinks were subpar and no limes and not a lot of ice. Seemed like it was a off night

The food tasted good and the server was attentive. However, I have a few things to share. We ordered side salads. The salads arrived with the main course. So, if you like to eat the salad first, your meal will cool off until you are done. We ordered Shrimp and Crab Fresca. The shrimp is Parmesan crusted, but we didn't expect it to be fried. If it was baked or broiled, it was overdone. The online photo shows lump crab placed on top of the shrimp, and the menu says lump crab. Ours looked like it was finely chopped and there wasn't much. We tend to avoid Alfredo sauce, and the menu didn't mention it, but that was the sauce on the pasta. First time at Union Kitchen. May go back, but won't get this again. Side note, they have neat robots that carry food from kitchen to table. Don't hit it and break it, as our server said someone had.

I enjoy dining here and chose it as the place to celebrate my birthday with my extended family. The food was delicious but our server dropped the ball on several seemingly obvious moments. My husband ordered chicken and waffles but he didn't think it necessary to bring syrup. When he asked what he could get anyone, my husband asked for syrup. When he returned, he brought tobasco, ketchup (which we did not ask for),but no syrup. It took a little longer for the syrup to be brought and he started walking our direction without it. This was the last of several miscues. My husband ordered coffee and asked for some sugar. He came back with packets of sweetener box and placed it on our table before taking off. Sugar was not there. He did not come back for awhile so I had to ask another server to please bring sugar. At that point his coffee was not very hot. He did return to check on us and my husband said he wanted some sugar. He was perplexed but then said oh there's no sugar in here. Little details that would have made all the difference had he slowed down and double checked before bringing just anything out to the table. Also he never did refill my water when asked.

I love their chicken and waffles for brunch. However, the last few times I’ve visited, the chicken has been inconsistent. On one occasion it was overcooked and therefore dry. And this last visit, the chicken was actually undercooked and almost raw. This is feedback to help improve, because we honestly love going to TUK.
