Traditional 1700s pub with a bar menu of classic British and global food. The Three Houses is located in Sandal just a stones throw from Sandal Castle. Serving local produce - and those a bit further afield - we bring our take of modern bistro food into a vibrant and creative world. We serve seasonally inspired cuisine alongside Yorkshire favourites. If you like Yorkshire puddings then try our giant Yorkshire filled with a full Sunday lunch!!

Enjoyed a lovely family meal early evening on a Friday , staff were very friendly and attentive. This was not our first visit and will not be our last. Lovely friendly atmosphere whether it just drinks or food. One of the best around.

Went at lunchtime. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lunchtime menu looked amazing and the food we had was freshly made and very good.

I had a very tasty vegetable tart and mum enjoyed her roast dinner. The staff were efficient and friendly. I hope this new management lasts. It is so much better than the previous management.

Lovely food, and outstanding service. Super dog friendly - the girls loved their Veg and Meat Bowls.

My second visit in just over a week, the first visit was great , the second one not so . We were informed a chef had not turned in , so the food took a while to arrive and the lack of professional prep was obvious with the chips that were more like half a potato and huge chunks of vegetables and salad , saying that the food tasted good , the waiter was lovely and I would hope the chef situation would be duly sorted . My only real complaint was the dirtiness of the toilets in the annexe restaurant, floor , sink & toilet all needed a really good clean

It was very busy but we still had prompt service. Staff looked very busy but they still smiled. Very friendly staff. Will certainly visit again( lovely food). My husband loved his chips( he hates going out and having frozen chips).

Delicious Sunday lunch with full range of vegetables and potatoes. Excellent pork with pigs in blankets too

It wasn't busy, so no excuse for waiting 20mins and at that point I went and found one of the waitresses to ask if someone would come and take order. The food was very nice although carrots seemed very salty and definitely not enough gravy for the Yorkshire pudding. We were very disappointed in the roast potatoes as they had a hard ridge and didn't taste good, mash and pork was delicious.
