A modern gathering place and decompression zone for you to sit back, relax and unwind after navigating the busy streets of London.

The décor is warm and sophisticated with a tongue-in-cheek British flair – even the art on the walls is irreverent, animating the space with larger-than-life portraits and visual puns. Come and make yourself comfortable on our plush leather sofas, complete with warm, cosy lighting creating an enticing ambience

A story with every bite, crafted to tell the unique story of St Martins Lane London.

Make your way through a playful yet delicious array of sandwiches and pastries. From a Croque Monsieur to resemble the infamous revolving doors to an elderflower and gold dust tea, symbolising the entrance to our hidden speakeasy. Expect the unexpected here in the centre of it all, The Den.

    My partner and I had an amazing afternoon tea at The Den. The cozy space is comfy and warm with unique art work that the chef has tied the food servings to through creative expression. Service was very attentive.

    Such a fun venue with an afternoon tea to match as everything was inspired by the environment you’re in which was such a brilliant and creative touch. Loads of attention to detail in the exquisite sweet treats and the service we received from Frayer was outstanding, nothing was too much and he was friendly and engaging. Would definitely recommend this venue for afternoon tea and it’s all at a very reasonable price!

    The afternoon tea was a disappointing experience - the food was ok but at a price of £55 per person. I'd expect them to be able to understand how to brew a pot of proper loose leaf tea. They didn't understand half of the concept - not up to London level at all.

    Such a cute and quirky afternoon tea. Everything was beautiful and delicious. Way too much food for two people and you really need a sweet tooth to fully enjoy it. Would definitely recommend it!

    Disappointing vegan afternoon tea experience. The menu stated they served vegan clotted cream with the scones. They didn't, it was Violife cream cheese which is savoury. The kitchen didn't have any cream alternative so we had to go without. We wouldn't have booked it if we had known. There are other good vegan afternoon teas for a much more reasonable price. Also, the Den was closed so we had to go to the main dining area which was empty with no atmosphere.

    I met friends for the tea service in the Den and had a wonderful experience. The staff, Monica, was lovely. She was attentive and answered our questions. Great assortment of teas and goodies to eat. We had two vegans in the group and the vegan tea services was yummy. The art and atmosphere was delightful.
