Situated in the heart of Cuffley, The Terrace brasserie & Bar offers a blend of familiar luxury and understated sophistication. Our all-day British dining restaurant boasts a modern, light, and spacious interior. Whether you prefer the inviting ambiance of our main dining area or the refreshing outdoor atmosphere of our terrace, we provide a welcoming space for you to indulge in seasonal favourites.

Our menu is a celebration of gourmet British flavours, meticulously crafted with attention to detail. Join us on Sundays for our renowned roast dinners, where we also offer delectable sharing boards for a communal dining experience.

We are open to everyone of all ages. However, we ask that no under 18s are in The Terrace after 7:30pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. We take card payments only.

Please note ID is required to enter the restaurant on Friday evenings. We offer live music on Fridays from 7pm - We hope you enjoy!

Our exclusive Christmas menu will be unveiled soon. There are limited tables available. Reserve now and join us for an unforgettable day. Arrival from 12:30 til 15:30. First time here for dinner. ( been for lunch previously). The ambience was good with a DJ. They mentioned we were celebrating a birthday as open table asks that on the booking but we didn’t get anything for it ( not that it is expected but why bother asking what we are celebrating?) 3 starters were brought over but not the 4th. We could see it sitting on the counter, tried to get a servers attention but couldn’t so we actually went up and asked if it was our missing starter. The actual starters were very basic and the hummus in particular was grainy and tasted like a bean and beetroot puree not hummus. It was served with cold pitta bread. Mains were ok. Caesar salad was fine, the burger was nice, Hake lovely and well cooked. Steak was served med rare as requested but didn’t look anything like a rib eye, it was very lean and quite thick at one end and tough. So we took it home for our dog. Didn’t have pudding as they had ran out of choice. I would t go back, I had told my friends how amazing it was and actually was embarrassed at the quality of the food. It’s a shame as they market themselves as high end but the food was far from that.

A lovely evening spent, more for larger groups of friends as oppose to couples. Great vibe. The staff were amazing, we will definitely return.

We had a fantastic Sunday roast…great quality food..!! Lovely, attentive staff throughout..! Would definitely recommend Sópers house to anyone who wants a nice relaxed dining experience whilst being very well Looked after..!!

Overall just about the best Sunday lunch we have had out for some time. Ambience & service excellent. The magician touring the tables was a lovely touch and very good. The platter for 4 was more than sufficient in quantity and quality was very good. There is a mixture of beef, lamb and chicken accompanied by Yorkshires, roast potatoes and other roast veg and greens. Our son who had the vegetarian alternative was also very impressed. Price was reasonable and value for money was excellent. Wine list included some pricey options but the house wines were reasonably priced I thought.

Food and vibe was lovely. Disappointed that there were only 2 cocktails we could have as you are not doing cocktails on a Friday any more. Seems like an odd thing to do. Also some items on drinks menu were not actually available. We asked for a mixed berry cider and other flavours kept being brought. Apparently mixed berry didn’t exist.

We went for the Sunday Roast. We had the Lamb, which was beautifully cooked. So much food! Had the Pavlova for Dessert... beautiful. Can highly recommend.
