Welcome to our restaurant with its Colonial Tavern featuring overhead beams, open hearth fireplace, and a charming bar. Our restaurant serves lunch and dinner seven days a week year round and Brunch on Sundays. Dining is in several separate dining rooms and a garden greenhouse. We also cater to banquet, wedding and private parties.

Sean was an excellent and courteous server. Our food was fresh. The moderate noise level was due to the laughter coming from the tables surrounding us. So nice.

Great service as always, as we’ve been going here over the years. Food always cooked to our wishes, and beautifully presented. Unfortunately just this one night only, had a particularly loud patron, who had a little too much to drink. Our waitress’s smile, warmth, attention to detail and over all charm more than made up for the time the patron was there. Best key lime pie ever had. Highly recommended, especially getting seats outside in the patio room. Highly recommend Looking forward to returning soon

Wonderful meal, great service. But disappointed that there was no butternut squash soup! A favorite at this restaurant. I've been there twice this October and the butternut squash soup was not available either time.

Very charming historic property. Just a nice place to be. Food was good. Dutch Pot Pie especially satisfying. Unfortunately, entire waitstaff seemed quite indifferent to our dinner. No mistakes or problems, but they just seemed to be going through the motions. That would be okay if 100% of the diners were locals and repeat customers, but this restaurant is housed inside a functioning inn with overnight lodging, meaning dinner is part of an away-from-hone experience. That suggests elevated expectations, in our case, unmet.

The butternut squash soup special was delicious as was the BLT. But the experiences what is so special about this restaurant good food plus history is always a winner.
