Whether you take your steak rare, medium or well-done, the Steak Pit is suited to satisfy your cravings. This mountain-side steakhouse offers year-round, top-notch service with a high-class menu and a low-key vibe. Conveniently located at the Snowbird Center and within walking distance from any lodging property at Snowbird, the Steak Pit is suitable for a special event or the whole family.

All menu items are built upon multiple courses, beginning with generous helpings of fresh salads and bread before choosing from hand-crafted cuts of the finest steak from locally sourced farms or trout freshly caught from Idaho streams. An award-winning wine list has been curated to create an exceptional and balanced selection of wines, and staff is trained to assist guests in making an appropriate choice to pair with their food.

Our meals were very good, but not the best steaks we have ever had. Service was exceptional. Our waiter was Evan. He really made the whole experience so enjoyable. Great kids menu if you have a picky eater in the family.

This place exceeded our expectations. The steaks were excellent and the service (caroline) was phenomenal. I’d highly recommend this steak house as one of the best!!

Meat quality is below average for a steak house. Special occasion (Birthday) was mentioned twice but never acknowledged.

Dined with my family. The bacon wrapped scallops appetizer was fabulous. Their bread rolls with butter- fantastic. Crab legs entree was large legs with plenty of meat. Service was attentive. Good value and large portions. Would recommend.

Bacon wrapped scallops way over cooked. Shrimp cocktail was unremarkable. Medium rare steak was closer to medium well and lacked flavor. The location was excellent at the resort, but there are far better dining options toward town.

Food was good but not outstanding. Ambience is dated and server was surprisingly casual (for a nicer restaurant) and had to be reminded about several items in our order.

When I made the reservation I mentioned that we were there for our anniversary. I thought the hostess would notice that and say something, but she didn't Still, it was a good experience.

Everything was great except my side. Honey glazed carrots. They were so dry and not sweet at all. No honey taste
